Washington, February 5: George Clooney has revealed that he was once robbed at gunpoint in Western Sudan.
During in an interview with Variety magazine, the 52-year-old American actor said that a 10-year-old kid, among others, came over with a Kalashnikov assault rifle to his head and robbed them, Us Weekly reported.
He added that the incident took place when he was working on 2007 documentary in Darfur.
On returning from Sudan, Clooney founded 'Not On Our Watch' in 2008 with Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, United Artists CEO Jerry Weintraub, and human rights lawyer David Pressman. (Ani)...

Director David Pressman has passed away at the age of 97.
He died of natural causes in New York City on Monday, according to Variety.com.
Pressman took charge of long-running U.S. soap opera One Life to Live for nearly three decades, garnering himself three Daytime Emmy Awards.
He also directed beloved actress Grace Kelly in the original TV version of The Swan and went on to guest-direct a number of popular shows, including The Defenders, The Nurses and N.Y.P.D., with Al Pacino.
Pressman was born in Tiblisi, Georgia, and studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. He then became an original member of the Actors Studio and founded the acting department at the prestigious Boston University in Massachusetts.
Before setting his sights on TV, Pressman also worked on a variety of Big Apple plays, including Broadway's Tony Award-winning The Disenchanted.
He retired from the entertainment business at the age of 85.
He is survived by his wife Sasha, and three sons Gregory, Eugene and Michael, an executive producer on the hit TV series Blue Bloods.

Not On Our Watch, the international advocacy and grant making organization founded by actors George Clooney, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, producer Jerry Weintraub, and human rights lawyer David Pressman, has awarded the U.S. Fund for Unicef a grant of $250,000 to support an innovative program to reduce maternal mortality in Southern Sudan.
The grant will provide motorcycle ambulances and improved maternal health care in five states of the Southern Sudan region, including Western Equatoria, Lakes, Jonglei, Western Bahr El Ghazal, and Central Equatoria.
“As the situation in Sudan grows increasingly unstable, it is imperative that the international community take action to help those most vulnerable,” said Not On Our Watch co-founder Matt Damon. “The maternal mortality rate in South Sudan is one of the highest in the world. We are proud to help Unicef as they work to save lives, especially during this critical period.”
