A music video in support of Steve Rushton's "Emergency", the soundtrack of "Race to Witch Mountain", has been premiered. It mainly captures Steve wandering around an abandoned area and performing the song accompanied by a band.
Beside featuring a song from Steve Rushton, "Race to Witch Mountain" also has its music scored by composer Trevor Rabin with the help from orchestrator Gordon Goodwin, producer Paul Linford, mixer Steve Kempster, ProTools recordist Larry Mah and music editor Robbie Boyd. Recorded at the Sony Scoring Stage, the music for the film contains strong brass lines and complex string ostinatos accentuated with electronics and percussion to keep the action flowing.
"Race to Witch Mountain" itself is slated for U.S. theatrical release on March 13. Directed by Andy Fickman, it stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, Carla Gugino, Alexander Ludwig and Ciaran Hinds among others.
