New York, August 19: Jeff Hall, the author of 'The Five Flirting Styles' claims that to be a successful flirt, one must know what type of flirt one is, and how to make that work.
According to the new book 'The Five Flirting Styles', there are five distinctive type of flirts, namely 'Physical flirts, Polite flirts, Traditional flirts, Sincere flirts and Playful flirts', the New York Post reported.
Physical flirts show interest through physicality and non-verbal behaviors and have no problem reaching out and touching someone playfully, and though their relationships tend to be intense, they are often short-lived.

Joseph Hall, the 12-year-old boy on trial for killing his neo-Nazi dad, has been found guilty. The La Times reports that Riverside County Superior Court Judge Jean P. Leonard believes the boy knew what he was doing, saying, "this is not a naive little boy unaware of the ways of the world."
Hall claimed he killed his father due to an episode of the CBS show "Criminal Minds," in which a child kills their abusive parent and isn't punished for it. The judge said while the boy had been damaged by abuse and neglect, the evidence that he plotted the 2011 attack and his knowledge that it was wrong could not be ignored.
The father, Jeffrey Hall, was a neo-Nazi leader on the west coast and took his son to events, including patrolling the Mexican border looking for illegal immigrants. "It's clear that this minor knows more than the average child about guns,...

A demanding Japanese boss torments his sleep-deprived Australian employee with late night phone calls and unannounced visits to his home in a new ad to mark the return of the Nissan Pulsar to the Australian market.
The campaign from Whybin\Tbwa Melbourne features the boss repeatedly barking “More” as the car worker runs through the improvements to the car, which has been away from the Australian market for the last seven years.
After six years the boss is eventually satisfied and says “Less” when he looks at the price.
See the ad:
In a press release, Nissan Australia’s CEO William F. Peffer Jr said: “The Nissan Pulsar has an amazing affinity with the Australian public. Dammmmmmn dog! Your feet are like so snowy. You must have been playing in that snow for, like, hours. It almost like your wearing shoes made out of snowballs, dog!! That’s her owner Jeff Hall holding her up for the cameras, though, for Google result purposes, we’re just gonna go ahead and say it’s Jeremy Lin, and watch as the blog traffic bucks start rolling Lin. Also is it bad that I want to stick that dog’s paw in a margarita while me and my husband Jeremy Lin just laugh by the fire? I’ve gone too far. Good day New York.

'Women with sexist attitudes more likely to prefer men with similar traits' - Realbollywood.com News
Washington, August 24: A new study has suggested that sexist women with a preference for casual sex are more likely to respond to men's aggressive strategies.
Men with a preference for "one-night stands" and negative sexist attitudes towards women are more likely to use aggressive courtship strategies. They compete with other men who are also interested in the woman, tease the woman, and isolate her away from her friends.
In response, women with a preference for "no strings attached" sex and negative attitudes towards other women are more likely to respond to men's aggressive strategies.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released its annual list of invited new members, and it’s clear they’re continuing to try to make their membership younger. On the list alongside veterans like John Hawkes and David Duchovny are a slew of twentysomethings, including Mia Wasikowska, Ellen Page, Jesse Eisenberg, Mila Kunis, Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rooney Mara. The Board of Governors also decided to extend an invitation to Restrepo codirector Tim Hetherington, the first time Academy membership has been bestowed posthumously. As a side note, it’s also a hoot to now say the phrase Oscar voter Russell Brand.

Beverly Hills, CA . The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 178 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. Those who accept the invitation will be the only additions in 2011 to the Academy.s roster of members.
.These individuals are among the best filmmakers working in the industry today,. said Academy President Tom Sherak. .Their talent and creativity have entertained moviegoers around the world, and I welcome each of them to our ranks..
The Academy.s membership policies would have allowed a maximum of 211 new members in 2011, but as in other recent years, several branch committees endorsed fewer candidates than were proposed to them. Voting membership in the organization has now held steady at just under 6,000 members since 2003.
In an unprecedented gesture, the list of new members includes documentary filmmaker Tim Hetherington, who was killed in action in Libya in April.

The Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show (Warner Home Video, $44.98) preserves all 35 exploits of America’s most pliable superhero from his 1979-80 Saturday morning series. Long before Mr. Fantastic, Elastigirl (a.k.a. Mrs. Incredible) and Elastic Man, there was Plastic Man, a hero my Dad read and liked in the 1940s. Jack Cole (another of comicdom’s troubled geniuses) created the fun-loving character for Quality Comics in 1941, both writing and inventively illustrating the stories. Since Plas (as he was nicknamed) was, shall we say, flexible, Cole broke comic book conventions with his innovative layouts. See Forms Stressed To Their Limits: Jack Cole & Plastic Man, the excellent (and beautifully designed) book by Art Spiegelman & Chip Kidd for more on Cole’s talents and troubles. Anyhow, Quality’s major heroes (notably Blackhawk and Plas) got sold to DC comics in the late 1950s. Every so often in the intervening half-century, Plastic Man...
