Maureen McCormick and Barry Williams played step-siblings on the iconic TV series The Brady Bunch. But off-screen, the feeling between the two actors wasn’t exactly what you would expect between a brother and sister. The two had a long-simmering crush on each other that they finally acted on while filming on-location in Hawaii.
Maureen McCormick and Barry Williams had feelings for each other
In 1972, the cast of The Brady Bunch released their second studio album, Meet the Brady Bunch. Soon after, they headed out on a cross-country tour, playing at state fairs and theaters in San Bernardino, Savannah, Atlantic City, and elsewhere, McCormick recalled in her 2008 memoir, Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My Voice.
While on tour, the Brady kids spent a lot of time together in close quarters. “We changed clothes in makeshift rooms off to the side of the stage, boys and girls...

Marcia Brady is getting candid. In a new interview, former The Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick opened up about her sobriety and past battle with drugs. During the sit-down with Us Weekly, she revealed her parents nearly went to extreme measures to get their daughter back on the right track. “My mom and dad, they almost turned me into the cops," she told the news outlet at The Brent Shapiro Foundation Summer Spectacular in Beverly Hills on Friday, Sept. 7. "They were at their last... ’cause they had been trying for years and knew something was going on and I was pretty sneaky and I could hide very, very well." (Photo Credit: Getty Images) She continued, "But then I started messing up on jobs and so many things, so I’m sure everyone in the industry at the time knew that I was flaking out." It wasn't until Maureen met her now-husband,...

Bristol Palin has obtained a temporary restraining order against a 39-year-old Texan man for allegedly stalking her.
TMZ reports that the daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was granted temporary protection from Michael Cummings, who, according to court documents, sent her an engagement ring in the mail with the note "I (heart) you." Cummings also allegedly showed up to a birthday party Bristol held for son Tripp at her mother's house on Dec. 27.
A court hearing set for later this month will determine whether the restraining order will be made permanent. The website points out that Cummings' own mother had called the police in Bristol's town to warn them about a visit from her "unstable" son.
Bristol appeared as a contestant on Season 11 of "Dancing With the Stars" in 2010, and again last fall on "Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars." In October, the show received a suspicious package aimed at Bristol.

Now let's get one key bit of trivia out of the way first: in case you've been hiding under a rock or something for the past year, "future metal" unit Powerman 5000 is the musical creation of FEARnet's very own on-camera correspondent Spider One (secret identity: Michael Cummings), who also happens to be the brother of another talented fellow by the name of Rob Zombie – you might be familiar with his work also – but just because Spider's batting for the home team, that's not the real reason I was so stoked to get a hold of their sixth studio release, which just hit stores this week. Three years in the making (and after a couple of false starts), Somewhere on the Other Side of Nowhere is fine...
