Well, we’ve all known this is coming for a while, but it’s getting more real by the day. Cisco Ramon is leaving Team Flash. Which means in the real world that Carlos Valdes is leaving The Flash. No more Vibe. No more cool and nerdy t-shirts. No more awesome villain names. It’s a bummer.
To be fair, it feels like The Flash has been teasing Cisco’s departure forever by now. Cisco took a hiatus from the team last season to go investigate post-Crisis on Infinite Earths anomalies and to visit Atlantis. The show has been trying out potential new Team Flash members in the form of Brandon McKnight’s generally delightful Chester P. Runk and Kayla Compton’s Allegra Garcia.
But recent developments have seen the prospect of Cisco’s permanent departure become increasingly real in recent weeks. With the love of Cisco’s life, Kamila...

The Flash appears to be drawing its story about the various “forces” and the humans they’ve inhabited to a conclusion. The next chapter “Family Matters, Part 1” (which airs tonight on The CW) puts the Strength Force known as “Fuerza” back in the spotlight.
Of course, we first met Fuerza in all her rampaging glory much earlier in the season, and her notoriety was complete when she killed poor Abra Kadabra. But since then, amidst Team Flash’s ongoing quest for the other forces that have been unleashed, we’ve learned a little bit more about the host of the Strength Force, Alexa Rivera played by Sara Garcia.
Alexa has been played as a sympathetic character, a former drug addict who has become a health care professional in order to help those in need and help make up for the perceived sins of her past. She blacks out when transforming...

Last season on The Flash, we were introduced to the concept of “Flash Time,” which basically allowed for Barry Allen to accomplish tasks at ridiculous speeds unbeknownst to those around him. Somehow, he was able to pull others into this pocket of sorts for brief periods, though I remain baffled how someone can stand still really fast. Hey, go back to the relevant adventures and then try to tell me everyone was in constant motion.
Minor grips aside, the network has devised a creative way to promote tomorrow night’s episode, “All Doll’d Up,” ahead of its debut by releasing a trailer presented in “Flash Time.” Seen at the top, it’s not slowed down in the way we’d grown accustomed, but rather, extremely sped up.
Of course, the entire episode can’t be found in the twenty second clip because I’m pretty sure the Powers That...

Right now, I’m willing to once again state that The Flash‘s fifth season has been consistently impressive. I may have had good things to say about the premiere, sure, but you can really never tell how quickly the show as a whole could potentially go downhill. That said, I’ll ask you to recall the earlier episodes making up the previous season.
So, while we wait for the Star Labs squad to uncover Cicada’s secrets, we’ll turn our attention toward another new threat arriving in Central City, that being Rag Doll. Originally imagined as a nemesis for Jay Garrick, it’ll obviously be Barry Allen who’ll have to square off against this guy in the live action realm. And though Rag Doll’s been around since the Golden Age, he hasn’t received too much exposure outside of the comics – barring the animated series The Batman,...

As of tonight, the crew over at Star Labs appear as though they’re one step closer to learning Cicada’s true identity thanks to some crack detective work done by Ralph Dibny and Sherloque Wells, but they’ll all have to contend with one of the most unique freaks of the week we’ve ever seen when The Flash airs its next brand new episode.
I am, of course, referring to Rag Doll, who’ll be played by real life contortionist Troy James, perhaps most recognizable from his time on America’s Got Talent. The synopsis for The Flash season 5, episode 5 is now here and as you can probably guess from the punning title “All Doll’D Up,” it’ll see Team Flash face Rag Doll, the latest metahuman threat to Central City who has the power of contortion (he’ll be brought to life by America’s Got Talent‘s Troy James).
Specifically, it’ll be Barry Allen and his wife Iris’ problem, as the Scarlet Speedster gets his other half involved to take her mind off a terrible revelation. Here’s what the synopsis teases:
Barry And Iris Team Up To Stop A Dangerous Meta Named Rag Doll —Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) lets something slip about the future that devastates Iris (Candice Patton). In an attempt to distract his wife, Barry (Grant Gustin) asks Iris to team up to stop a new meta, Rag Doll (guest star Troy James). Meanwhile, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker...

Fargo creator Noah Hawley promised a bloody season finale for his TV adaptation of the Coen brothers movie, and he wasn’t lying. But whose blood was spilled? [Spoiler Alert: Read on only if you have already watched last night’s season finale of Fargo.] The final showdown between Lorne Malvo and Lester Nygaard ended up a bit of a draw: Nygaard bloodied Malvo’s leg with a bear trap while Malvo bloodied Nygaard’s nose by hurling an object at his face. In the end, they both died by other hands. No longer the Cowardly Lion, Gus Grimly found his courage and pumped Malvo full of lead while Nygaard later fell through the ice while running...
