If you’re a New York Yankees fan living in Seattle, you’ve learned that you can watch your favorite team on Major League Baseball’s Extra Inning cable package or MLB.TV’s streaming package – except when they’re playing in your city.
That’s because a blackout occurs and only allows that fan to watch on a service that provides that broadcast – if they can find it. Local blackout restrictions mean many fans would have to head to the ballpark if they want to see a particular game and it’s not being locally broadcast.
To remedy that, MLB has hired Billy Chambers, a longtime regional sports network executive, to figure out how to work around the local blackout issues, according to Sports Business Journal.

One of the Scandal actors got plastered — but why? (And should we be worried?)
PhotosHillary Clinton Visits Scandal — Conflict of Interest for Olivia?
Tony Goldwyn, who plays Fitz on the ABC drama, shared on Instagram this photo of a (what appears to be male) cast member’s head getting fitted for a plaster cast. The reasons for such a procedure are few, a frequent one being that the special effects team needs to make a “dummy” head for a stunt scene (e.g. a gruesome gunshot to the noggin; see The Walking Dead‘s Carl).

Due to the strong sales enjoyed by Resident Evil HD earlier this year, Capcom had previously announced plans to bring Resident Evil Zero HD to current and last-gen consoles. Now, only a few weeks after the debut announcement, the studio has unleashed the first full trailer for the title.
Taking place during the events of the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero focuses on the desperate bond formed between detective Rebecca Chambers and convict Billy Chambers in the wake of the zombie outbreak. The title originally debuted on the Nintendo Gamecube back in 2002, and features the unique mechanic of allowing players to “zap” between the two protagonists mid-game. Well, it was unique back in 2002 anyway.
As for the contents of the trailer itself, well, it’s nothing you haven’t seen before. I don’t mean that in a bad way, mind you, but it’s just a better looking...

The epic, fast-paced Wtf-ness helped propel Scandal to huge audiences over the past three seasons. As we gear up for season four, it helps to remember all of the murders, secret identities, explosions, conspiracies, and craziest moments that paved the way. Do you know how hard it was to whittle this list down to 50 things? 1. The president kills a Supreme Court justice with his bare hands. 2. Olivia and President Fitzgerald Grant are having an affair. 3. Olivia bullies Amanda Tanner to the brink of suicide and then admits she had an affair with the president, too. 4. But then Amanda is kidnapped and murdered. 5. Olivia short-changes the Russian mob by $3 million during negotiations to retrieve a kidnapped baby. 6. Quinn’s reporter boyfriend Gideon gets stabbed in the neck with a pair of scissors when he confronts Billy Chambers, the vice-president’s chief of staff, about his relationship...

"Scandal" Season 3 is still, painfully, a few months away, but members of the cast were on hand at the recent Atx Television Festival in Austin, Texas to reminisce about Season 2, talk Twitter and share their hopes for next year.
One of the many shocking twists of Season 3 was the revelation that Joe Morton's enigmatic B613 director, Rowan, was also Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) father. The cast members on hand at the Atx panel -- Katie Lowes (Quinn Perkins), Joshua Malina (David Rosen), Dan Bucatinsky (James Novak) -- admitted that they were every bit as floored as the audience when they finally found out. "Joe Morton had been around for months and we had no idea," Lowes said with a laugh. "No one knew. Everyone was completely flabbergasted. I think there was screaming that occurred."

Television is worst when it's safe, and even some of the highest-rated shows in the landscape are culprits of pedaling the scripted norm: formulated one-liners, typical reveals, copying the routine methods of shows that have come before, simply re-packaging them for a different audience. And to honor that would be a slight to the brilliant breakout series elevating television to new heights: whether we're gasping every week at Shonda Rhimes' latest revelation on Scandal, waiting for the next blood-curdling murder on Dexter, or guiltily employing the twisted pleasure that is Pretty Little Liars, there's a lot of great TV that is evolving the art, and forcing us as viewers to grow along with it.

Welcome back to Scandal, the finest slice of political drama on the TV, now with more fashion accessories, torture and twists and turns! It’s the finale of the show’s second season, aptly titled ‘White Hat’s Back On’ in a reflection of the season premiere ‘White Hat’s Off’, and with the big revelations that Billy Chambers, disgraced politician and murderer, is the Albatross and that David Rosen has betrayed the team, the team is scattered and scrambling to deal with wave after wave of problems. Let’s jump in, shall we?
Olivia and the team are running a handy little recap of the Billy Chambers reveal of last week, particularly the moment when Billy buys back his life from Charlie, the pair forming a friendship. David, meanwhile, is holding onto the Cytron card for security. Later on, the team look for someone who Billy can use to...

The most intriguing thing about both seasons of Scandal is that everyone is a mess. Very few people have redeemable qualities, and most reveal a murky, sinister side more often than not. Last night’s finale was glorious, as the psychopathic, sycophantic, murderous, heart-attack-inducing personality disorders were on full display. The gladiators know that Billy Chambers is the mole, and Huck admits that he “hired out” the job of killing Chambers to Charlie, back when Liv was trying to help Huck go on a murder detox. Charlie was about to take a table saw to his torso, but Chambers negotiated for his life by promising Charlie access to all of the vice-president’s secrets. The Defiance team gets back together as Olivia, Mellie, Cyrus, and Hollis meet to discuss the problem of Billy Chambers over some Gettysburgers. Liv suggests that Defiance is the problem, not Chambers, and that they need...

Last night’s wild season 2 finale of Scandal featured a number of shocking revelations and a big moment for our girl Quinn. We caught up with Scandal creator and showrunner Shonda Rhimes after an Academy of Television Arts and Sciences cast reading of the finale to ask her a few questions. Be warned, though, if you haven’t seen the season finale of Scandal, there are only spoilers below.
“We call it the “I’m Quinn, bi-ch” moment,” said Rhimes of the scene where Quinn jams that drill into Billy Chambers’ chest as the blood splatters all over her face.

Here's the thing about "Scandal": It's so well-made, and the actors so clearly relish every fast-talking line of dialogue they get to deliver, and the plot whipsaws so quickly that it's almost pointless to try to track it, that it's really easy to get swept along and enjoy the ride.
Until, that is, the ride jumps the track and gives you whiplash like it did in the final scene of Thursday's (May 16) Season 2 finale. With Defiance now seemingly forever put to rest*, David Rosen has his career back, Fitz is making peace with Mellie, Cyrus is back in the seat of power and Olivia is once again trying to move on. It's not a perfect ending for any of them -- they all gave up something to get there -- but it's one they can all live with.

I'm incredibly sad that Scandal is over until the fall, but also kind of relieved because now I can breathe again on Thursday nights. This show is insanely good and worthy of every single accolade it has earned in two seasons.
Insanely good. So good I had to say that twice.
"White Hat's Back On" was the perfect angst-riddled ending to such a crazy season. And that was one hell of a cliffhanger.
The hour started with the team already knowing that Billy Chambers was alive and well and while I'm not sure how they figured that out, I'm happy we didn't spend time showing it. The fact that he wasn't actually dead was well-written by Abby's thinking he had just gone underground and Huck's mini-rant about getting the job done correctly.
Huck: It's true what they say. If you want someone killed right, you've gotta kill them yourself.
Abby:...

According to star Kerry Washington, the "Scandal" Season 2 finale will not only give us deeper insight into why the traitorous David Rosen (Josh Malina) is working with the mole, Aka the nefarious Billy Chambers (Matt Letscher), it will also leave us with one heck of a "crazy" cliffhanger.

After a season of guessing on the part of both the audience and the cast, "Scandal" was finally ready to reveal the identity of the mole. The reveal caused Olivia to drop her jaw, but we suspect she wasn't the only one who's mouth was agape at that moment.
“Billy Chambers," Harrison told her. "Billy Chambers is the mole.”
TVLine thought it was a pretty big reveal, especially considering that Billy Chambers -- who was Sally Langston's chief of staff -- had been assumed dead. And Billy's not working alone.
A scene showed Billy in a limo saying, “Now we can start having some fun.” An expanded shot revealed that he was talking to David Rosen.
“And not only is Billy Chambers the mole -- he's in cahoots with David Rosen!" marveled Entertainment Weekly. "Suddenly, it all starts to make sense. The two guys who had their lives ruined at...

Well, "Scandal," since you asked ...
(You might find these queries spoilery. In which case, you know not to read past here, don't you?)
Are we supposed to take David's pilfering of the Cytron card as a righteous act against the people who have made his life hell this past season, or a straight-up heel turn against the people who then tried to help him fix it? Some of both, maybe?
When did David and Billy Chambers join forces? Was it before or after the dead woman showed up in David's bed? Given his reaction to finding the body -- when no one else was around -- it has to be after, right?
Or did they join forces at all? Is David going to do a double-double cross when he gets what he wants from Billy?
Where has Billy been since the end of Season 1? We all assumed bad things were...

If it were acceptable to write an entire review in nothing but screams and exclamation points, I would try it. Because there's certainly a lot of screaming and exclaiming going on inside my brain after watching Scandal tonight.
So much, in fact, that I stopped taking notes on "Any Questions?" somewhere around the time when Cyrus cut James into a million little pieces and then I just watched the rest with my mouth hanging open until... Omg Billy Chambers is the mole!
Billy Chambers Is The Mole. Billy. Chambers. Is. The. Mole. And David Rosen is a double-crossing, crazy-helper.
I said it in Round Table after Round Table that I didn't think Billy Chambers died at the end of Scandal season 1. We never saw a body and rule #1 of killing people on TV means if we don't see the body there's always a chance the character didn't really die. I love being right!

This episode didn’t pack as much of a punch along the way as last week's. But the last five minutes were jam-packed with information. Shonda was busy throwing curve balls our way during the entire episode, giving us many different prospects for who the mole might be. But I kind of suspected early that David just might be the guy, when he said that he was part of the team. But the dead giveaway came when he decided to stay and watch Cyrus on television while the rest of the team was busy. However, as we found out, he's not acting alone. The question that dominated social networking feeds at the end of the episode was: Who is Billy Chambers? Chambers is...

[Spoiler Alert: If you care about spoilers, don't read if you're not caught up with Scandal. We're going as far as last week's "A Woman Scorned." Deal? Deal.]
It’s been almost three months since we saw David Rosen wake up next to a butchered blonde and we realized that something (else) was amiss in the Scandalverse. These kids can’t catch a break, can they? Since that moment and the President’s sabotaged hostage rescue attempt, the pieces of the White House Mole problem have been unravelling slowly, with promising leads, frustrating closed doors, and the death of an innocent man.

Attention, "Scandal" fans: Billy Chambers (Matt Letscher) may not be dead yet.
According to TV Guide, the vice president -- who was presumed dead after getting in an elevator with an assassin at the end of Season 1 -- could very well be alive.
"I can neither confirm nor deny that Billy Chambers is dead," Letscher said, according to TV Guide. I assume he is; they gave every indication of that. Knowing Shonda [Rhimes] and the way she writes, I wouldn't be surprised if someday, somehow he were to come back."
Known for being an intense political drama, star Kerry Washington -- who plays Olivia Pope -- insists she's never felt luckier to be part of something.
"I keep saying it over and over, but I feel like the luckiest broad in showbiz," Washington told HuffPost TV. "I don't quite know how this happened, but I do feel like every time I read a new episode,...

Scandal never fails to disappoint upon returning from a break. Never. In fact, I think this show is incapable of disappointing at all right now. Scandal is on fire!
As the once-divergent story lines came crashing together around Olivia Pope, "Truth or Consequences" was a game-changer.
I've said it all along, and tonight I was proven correct: Hollis was not behind the assassination attempt.
Truthfully, having him be the culprit was too easy. Setting him up to make it look like he was behind it all, however, was brilliant. I have my theories about who set him up, but I'll probably be proven wrong somehow by some crazy loop Shonda will find a way to throw at us. That's okay, though. I can handle the ride on that roller coaster.
Now that we've gotten that major bit out of the way, let's talk about Olivia.
We've seen flashes of her...

Just about everybody loves gossip. It can make you make you smile, it can hurt, it can destroy and yes, even cause death. That is probably why Scandal (TV) is a success. Politics, scandal, mystery, intrigue, murder and forbidden love are all included in this fast paced series. Beautiful people combined with good writing has melded into a show that has kept viewers interested. Created by Shonda Rhimes, Scandal (TV) is about an intelligent young woman Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), a former White House Communications Director for the President, who wants to make a change in her life. Olivia starts her own crisis management firm, Pope and Associates. Olivia is a woman of character with strong beliefs and can annihilate a person with her whip hard intellect, but can also show compassion. What a Scandal Season 1 finale, right? Poor Gideon, poor Olivia, poor Fitz - and hello, Mellie, First Lady of evil!

Leigh: Someone in witness protection is a good guess, but I'm feeling more like she's got a criminal background. I truly cannot wait to find out in Season 2! Great setup by Shonda (a woman who ripped my heart...

Scandal Finale Review: Grant For The People
My apologies for a delayed post but Shonda Rhimes did a number on me last Thursday, how about you all? After an intense Grey's Anatomy, we relocated to Washington DC to kick off Scandal.
After last week's intensely wild ride that ended in the near fatal stabbing of journalist Gideon, we picked up right where we left off. Unfortunately that "near fatal" part became fatal when Quinn made one of the most classically idiotic mistakes and pulled the sharp object out of Gideon's neck. I'm not even close to a doctor and even I know that when you pull out the object, the person is likely to bleed it. I'm pretty sure this is a well known fact, no?
What led to the stabbing as we know, is that Gideon was the little journalist who could and he finally cracked the Amanda Tanner case.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, here are some queries we’re going to lob at you, from shows including Once Upon a Time, Glee, Revenge and Grey’s Anatomy!
1 | Considering she embodied this ginormous power supply, it was a bit too easy to take out Fringe‘s Olivia, wasn’t it? Seriously, we’ve had more difficulty unplugging our laptop from the wall.
2 | Who else was traumatized by the sight of Rory Gilmore’s boobs — didn’t they look digitally altered, as if something had been erased? — on Mad Men?...

"Scandal" ... what a season finale, right? I caught up with star Kerry Washington, who teased big things for the finale, but that was just beyond "juicy" and "shocking."
Spoiler alert: Do not read any further if you haven't yet watched "Scandal" Season 1, Episode 7, titled "Grant: For the People."
We saw the bloody aftermath of Gideon's (Brendan Hines) scissor stabbing by the VP's chief of staff Billy Chambers (Matt Letscher), and the reveal of who actually hired Huck's old hitman pal-turned-torture-victim to kill Amanda Tanner. There was a shift in Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) relationship with the president (Tony Goldwyn), his right-hand man Cyrus (Jeff Perry) and the first lady (Bellamy Young), but we also saw how Olivia's associates could rally for one of their own -- even if it meant destroying key evidence.

Kerry Washington promised in our interview that the Scandal season finale would bring it. And "Grant For the People" certainly did. Consider my jaw sufficiently dropped and my mind officially blown.
I can't tell you how glad I am that this show was picked up for a second season. Seven episodes is simply not enough of such an awesome series.
This was a night of masterful storytelling. Things came together and characters fell apart beautifully.
Quinn as a client was a perfect intersection of the show's usual format of two stories. Quinn needed her secret identity to stay hidden, so she called Olivia instead of 911 after Gideon bled out all over his rug. Olivia, despite her team's protests, demanded that Quinn was a client and she would be treated like one. The team's reluctance to clean the crime scene, followed by its meticulous scrubbing, indicates that maybe this isn't their...

Warning: The following contains spoilers from the Season 1 finale of ABC’s Scandal.
ABC’s Scandal wrapped up its frothy freshman run on Thursday night by having Vice President Langston’s chief of staff, Billy Chambers, aggressively accelerate his twisted plan to torpedo President Grant’s first term by commandeering a press briefing to posit that Fitz had a fling with ill-fated former White House intern Amanda Tanner. Meanwhile, Olivia Pope & Associates swung into action to clean up the scene of journalist Gideon Wallace’s murder, lest Quinn — I’m sorry, “Quinn” — enter the system and have her actual super-secret identity be discovered.
