A lesson in small-scale, low-budget film making. Take one location, use it to your advantage and focus on story telling more than S/FX.

A sequel that is as good if not better than the original. Taking the original story out into a wider setting.

A good ensemble piece with four former Doctors putting in very good performances in roles that differ from their Whovian roles. All looks a bit dated now though - those are floppy disks folks!

A rather haunting piece with some quite touching and moving scenes in it. Rather let down by the low budget, which is unusual for a BBV production,

A very good start to the P.R.O.B.E. series of stories. Even Linda Lusardi is Ok.

Votes: 98
Apart from some old schoolboys this is top-notch entertainment. Peter Davison is on top form, a good setting and storyline. Caroline John is growing into the character and we get better use of Louise Jameson.
9. P.R.O.B.E.: Unnatural Selection (1996 Video)
47 min | Horror, Sci-Fi
A series of gruesome and bizarre murders leads P.R.O.B.E. to investigate a secret government project from the seventies.
Director: Bill Baggs | Stars: Caroline John, Louise Jameson, Charles Kay, Kathryn Rayner
Votes: 57
A solid entry in the series with some supporting P.R.O.B.E. characters adding some extra depth. Perhaps a bit more reliant on S/FX than other stories in the series.
10. P.R.O.B.E.: Ghosts of Winterborne (1996 Video)

Director: Bill Baggs | Stars: Reece Shearsmith, Daniel Matthews, David Hankinson, Nathan Hamlett
Votes: 61
I have mixed feelings about this return to Winterborne. Davison is on good form - and looks to be enjoying himself. Whole thing goes a bit OTT towards the end though.

Perhaps one of those stories that sounded better in theory than on the screen. Sophie Aldred is watchable as ever but a bit plodding at times.
