Matilda: The Musical (II) (2022)

I wouls rather the original one than this musical movie!
24 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Giving this movie a 1 star because i can't give it a half, i saw the original and i had expectations, this was the worst musical i have EVER seen, probably the worst movie i've seen, and coming from a musical lover, it has to be awful for me to not want to watch it, was it worth 2 hours if my time, no. That's why i skipped through 80% of the movie, the best part of the movie was the end, and im not just saying that because that meant it was over but because the last song in the movie was good, the movie was backwards and didnt make much sense, in my opinion it was so bad that you might as well do yourself a favor and skip to the last song it was the best and the only good oart in this entire movie also the credits were twelve minutes long for no reason.

I'm being honest here, if you've seen the original dont bother with this one and juat go watch the OG again instead, this was a hot mess, and thats an understatement i just cant come up with a better way to describe it, oh wait ive hot it, a waist of two hours of my life that i cant get back, i spent so much time skipping through it desperately trying to gind parts that were good that i wasted two hours anyway.

The Favourite (2018)

One of the worst movies I have ever seen and the ending was by far the very worst..
23 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The movie was a bummer it left us shaking our heads with regret having spent 2 hours watching it. It left us in a bad mood that took us a glass of wine when we got home to shake off. As for the high review from Rotten Tomatoes I suspect their job is to get the public interested in movies, not to turn us away. Over the years I have learned not to give them high marks on their ability to judge weather or not I will like a movie. I have to remind myself that they live and work in a different culture than most of us so their likes and dislikes are very different. Their views on people and life are much more liberal than most of us and that is often reflected in their reviews. That is why so often Rotten Tomatoes may rate a movie with a low score but the viewers rate it high. If we had read the reviews of the regular viewers that saw the movie prior to us watching it we would have avoided it that is for sure. There were so many excellent reviews that exposed this move for what it really was, convoluted and horrible. Run from this movie, don't walk.

~what a masterpiece~
22 February 2024
"I want to make a complaint against my parents. I'd want adults to listen to me. I want adults who can't raise kids not to have any. What will I remember? Violence, insults or beatings, hit with chains, pipes, or a belt?"

~Capernaum~ A movie so mind-boggling yet depressing. It is an emotional ride that carries you to the other side of the world where life is drilling you at every step and the people around make you feel like smut.

It speaks volumes about the scarred childhood and the infinite agonies one has to endure to survive.

Capernaum is raw yet burnished with the appalling aspect of the reality where you will start feeling remorseful of the world you are living in. Humans are bartered for materialistic satisfaction and the young girls are traded to the lusty giants who desire nothing but pleasure.

My heart twinged while I watched the movie and there came a moment where everything felt inherent as if I am living each scene of the movie at that exact time. This cinematic experience is so gripping that the powerful acting and the heartbreaking scenes started to tear up my senses into gazillion slivers of sheer sadness.

It felt like an eternity to bounce back from the miserable reality and their pristine performance.

It is a gut-wrenching story that is bound to leave tears in the eyes and a crack in your heart. It is not just a movie but a harrowing experience on a different level that can instantly shake your existence. Capernaum is daring and it screams realism till the end.

Of course, nothing could be more delightful than the ending of the movie where Zain finally smiles. He deserved that smile after everything he went through and seeing him smile for the first time, in the end, warmed my heart straight away.

Capernaum, you beauty!

Thought-provoking drama
22 February 2024
"A Man Named Otto" is a thought-provoking drama that delves into the depths of human emotions, showcasing a powerful story of redemption and self-discovery. Directed by a visionary filmmaker and brought to life by an exceptional cast, this film takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster ride, leaving a lasting impact long after the credits roll.

The story revolves around Otto, a seemingly ordinary man plagued by inner demons and haunted by a troubled past. As we delve into his life, we witness the raw and vulnerable moments that shape his character. Played brilliantly by a talented lead actor, Otto's journey of self-reflection takes center stage, pulling viewers into the depths of his psyche.

The film's strength lies in its ability to tackle complex themes with subtlety and nuance. It explores the human condition, showcasing the struggle between the darkness within us and the flicker of hope that can lead to redemption. Otto's transformation is beautifully portrayed, as he confronts his demons head-on, challenging his own beliefs and biases along the way.

The pacing of the narrative is deliberate, allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves in Otto's world. The director's skillful storytelling unfolds with a blend of flashbacks, introspective moments, and impactful dialogue, keeping the audience engaged throughout. The cinematography is visually stunning, capturing the essence of each scene, be it the desolate landscapes or the intimate moments of self-reflection.

The supporting cast delivers strong performances, each adding layers to the narrative and contributing to Otto's character arc. The relationships he forges along the way, particularly with a wise mentor figure and a fellow lost soul, bring a touch of warmth amidst the film's darker undertones.

One minor drawback of "A Man Named Otto" is that it occasionally veers into predictable territory, relying on familiar tropes. However, the exceptional performances and compelling narrative largely overshadow this slight flaw, drawing the audience back in with its emotional depth and powerful messages.

The film's musical score beautifully complements the visual elements, evoking a range of emotions, from despair to hope, and further enhancing the viewing experience. The carefully selected soundtrack resonates with the audience, heightening the emotional impact of key scenes.

In conclusion, "A Man Named Otto" is a captivating and introspective drama that explores the complexities of the human experience. Its themes of redemption, self-discovery, and the power of human connection resonate long after the final scene. With exceptional performances, skillful direction, and a thought-provoking narrative, this film is a must-watch for those seeking a moving cinematic experience that prompts introspection and leaves a lasting impression.

SPOILERS!!!!
9 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
In the beginning, I had high hopes for this movie as it seemed like one of those typical time loop movies, where the main character at some point realizes what they have to do differently and somehow change and have a long-lasting life outside the time loop. I loved that they showed the different stages the main character went through. And how their Character develops. My biggest problem is just the ending. And it is also the reason why this OK movie gets only one star. Don't get me wrong, I understand that the movie is supposed to be a reminder to live every day as if it were your last and to treat the people around you right. I also think it is symbolic of how ignorant people get towards each other.

The ending to me just made no sense at all! How is sacrificing herself going to help anyone? She might have saved that girl's life this time but what about the future? The main character's friends are most likely not going to stop to bully that other girl... and maybe even blame her for their friends' death! And what about the guy she kisses in the end? What about him? He is always going to think of what could have happened if she hadn't run in front of that truck. The main character as a mean girl and bully gets around having to work on herself and get things straighten out. All in all this movie was a waste of time and not worth watching!

Boring movie!
9 February 2024
The garbage movie will take an hour of your life If there was a way to rate this garbage i would rate it -10, it takes idea from the Taiwan thriller 'Incantation', the same premise is played here about souls of the damned and the mechanics of how the protagonists are affected. Now take that, then throw a rip from the Ring to add to the producer's un-original ideas. Seriously, does anyone come out with anything of their own anymore?

Acting is absolutely dismal, it's like the actors of this movie need to go back to school again and understand how to engage audience, Jumps scares are a yawner too. The music comes on and it takes a lifetime before the protagonist does anything worthwhile, this is just sad considering how many great products kdrama has produced.

Devdas (I) (2002)
10/10
A Bittersweet Classic
1 February 2024
Gloriously excessive Bollywood epic starring former Miss World Aishwarya Rai. Set in the 30s and sumptuously shot, it follows a lovelorn suitor's slide into alcoholism and despair

Bhansali's film boasts the biggest budget for an Indian film ever and boy, does it show. An extravagant tale of love, loss and serious drinking, it operates on a scale previously unseen in Bollywood.

Essentially a tragic love triangle, the story follows tortured Devdas (Khan) as he mucks things up with childhood sweetheart Paro (Rai), meets courtesan Chandramukhi (Dixit) and then drinks himself to death. A spirited anti-hero, in India his name his synonymous with a sort of heroic failure.

Everything about the film - costumes, sets, songs and sentiments - is larger than life and the sheer spectacle demands respect. The musical numbers cast Devdas and Paro as the mythical lovers Krishna and Radha. Cheeky, sexy and dizzyingly complex, the dancers display astonishing energy and precision, whole sequences shot from above to resemble the shifting patterns of a kaleidoscope.

Certainly there are moments of daftness. A half-cut Devdas resolves a financial dispute by setting fire to a sofa, for example, and nobody tries to stop him. But there's also humour, style and a conclusion that's plenty teary. As Western directors continue to look to Bollywood for inspiration this is a shining example how it should be done. Intoxicating.

Verdict Starts big, gets a whole lot bigger then gets twice as big after that, this is Bollywood at its most flamboyant. The song and dance numbers alone are worth the price of entry and whether you're familiar with the genre or not this is irresistible from start to finish.

Best film!!

This is one of the best films ever made! I watched it a few days ago and i still have the movie running through my head. It is so amazing that it has a lasting impression.

Once again, Shah Rukh Khan steals the spotlight and does a magnificent performance as the beautiful and sweet Aman Mathur.

By the way, i was thinking "What a funny movie" until the end...it just gets sad. And me being a really sensitive person, wow...it just blows you away. Shah Rukh Khan's brilliant performance will stay with you forever.

I was up at 2.30 in the morning, tissues strewn all around me with tears just pouring down my face. The moment you try to stop crying, another scene comes on and you start again. Seriously, i'm really sensitive so no surprise but i reckon this film was the first film that actually made me cry that much. I just couldn't stop!! This is a must for everyone..including you sensitive people out there! Everyone must watch this film! It's just beautiful and it was actually an eye-opener for me! You've got to cherish whatever you have because who knows...tomorrow may never come.

One of the best Indonesian children's drama films of all time
29 January 2024
I love this musical drama movie!!!!!

Sherina still looks innocent, beautiful, cheerful, talented in acting and singing making the storyline of this movie not boring. The songs sung by Sherina were very nice to hear and the best in Indonesia throughout the century......... To be honest, while I watched this movie from start to finish, there was no swearing and dialogue using dirty languages. The scenes are completely natural and there are no adult romance scenes shown in this movie so it is safe to watch with your little ones and family. I highly recommend this movie, the best of all time!!!!!

Wonka (2023)
10/10
A simply delightful and magical film to bring you cheer!
29 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Wonka is the spiritual prequel to the 1971 masterpiece and family-classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. This film is hyper focused on the backstory behind the wacky, eager and joyous chocolatier as he returns from a seven-year excursion and attempts to make his way in the world as the most renowned chocolate maker. Throughout the film, Wonka is faced with the success and failure of a candy-maker, while meeting a group of captive workers in a launderette, most notably a young girl named Noodle, who follow him on his journey to attaining his dream and facing the Chocolate Cartel trio consisting of Slugworth, two other well-known chocolate makers, as well as the police force. It is, in essence, the companion to the 1971 film and illuminates the humble beginnings of the titular character in a way we never thought we would see. Timothée Chalamet's performance as Willy Wonka is brilliant. Timothée, throughout the film, is able to capture that aurora we all felt watching Gene Wilder play the quirky and fun candy maker. His mannerisms, temperament, humor, wittiness, and enthusiasm is unmatched, cementing himself as the Willy Wonka we know and love in Gene Wilder. As first, many seemed skeptical of how well he would perform, but undoubtedly, Timothée Chalament is simply wonderful. Another charming performance is that of Calah Lane as Noodle, the orphan worker Wonka meets in the film. Her companionship matched with Chalamet's well-natured character, displays such emotion and hope. Lane's character is confused and silenced initially, but through Wonka, she finds herself and then builds the confidence to become wholesome while tagging along with him. The last performance that was quite impressive and exciting was Hugh Grant as Lofty, a cunning, ill-humored, and persistently annoying Oompa Loompa bent on making Wonka pay for his crime of stealing from Loompaland. Hugh Grant is hysterical, even though his appearance in the film is short of just half an hour in segmentation. Though his screen time was limited, Hugh Grant's performance as an Oompa Loompa is both comical and entertaining. He really does capture the disposition of the Oompa Loompa's from the 1971 film and even sings in the original riddle-like voice and rhythm from the 1971 film too! The additional and supporting cast are exceptional as well. Keegan-Michael Key, Rowan Atkinson, and company just add that much more laughs and interest to the film. The music accompanying the film is beautiful. Just like the original film, the score and compositions add such wonder to this story and even contain subtle clues of songs you may have heard in the Mel Stuart film! Such light-heartedness and beauty give the music such importance and depth, truly encapsulating the movement and tone of the film. The CGI, practical effects, scenery, and more were outstanding as well. Everything was on the dot and seemed real to the point that it will leave you feeling that making chocolate that can make you fly or coming across little orange men with green hair can actually exist! Overall, Wonka is the perfect film, not only because of its simplicity, but how it is representative of establishing the backstory of both literature and cinema's most iconic character. Though Gene Wilder is sadly no longer with us, he would be proud of Timothée's performance and the charm presented by every bit of time and effort put into the making of this film. A must see film is you love Willy Wonka or if you generally love this type of film!

Not a bad time pass...
28 January 2024
Have not been a fan of Shah Rukh and the types of films he used to do those days (though I always admired his screen presence), and I saw this movie in a centrally located city cine hall with a friend of mine for time pass amidst some shopping. And the movie passed that test and it was as good as "just a good time pass". Aditya Chopra has learnt the art of wooing Indian audience from his legendary father, and men like him and Karan Johar know the trick of delivering good quality chick flicks. The lead ladies are as usual exquisite, the costumes carefully chosen to trigger a fashion trend in the stores, panoramic locations, right doses of emotion, good music, khichri that works wonderfully well with the majority and reward them with big hits. It was sort of a comeback movie for Bachchan after the ABCL debacle, and Shah Rukh had to establish his superiority again after challenged by a debutant named Hrithik Roshan. They came together on the screen for the very first time and created some magic for their fans who loved it all. A good time pass should get a 6, I believe...

The realities of life
26 January 2024
Although I had great fears that this film would not live up to my expectations, I am happy to say that in almost every way this film was outstanding.

First let me get my only quibble out of the way--the ending was too rushed, too abrupt and too unrealistic--we needed more closure.

Otherwise, this was an outstanding movie in every way--from SRK's acting to the supporting characters to Rani's clothes to the absolute realism of the couple's post-marriage fights--I cringed with every word they spoke, watching how two people who loved each other so much could tear themselves apart so easily.

I commend the writer for not making either SRK or Rani's character's perfect; they were both flawed and both to blame for what happened. This is indeed the truth of any marriage--there are two equal partners, and very rarely is it more one person's fault than the other's no matter what people think.

On a purely shallow note--SRK continues to look as good as ever (though he has lost weight, poor babe, due to his recent ill health) and continues to remind us why Gauri is one of the luckiest women on earth!!

It was also good to see an indian film in which the actress did not feel that a string bikini was adequate attire--Rani wore sexy, stunning clothes, and never felt the need to undress the way the actresses in, for example, Andaaz did-- costume directors take note--this is how real women dress- elegant, revealing when necessary, but never vulgar.

All in all, apart from the ending, I would give this movie easily 9/10.

I just wasted 2 hours of my life!!!
27 July 2023
A disappointing and boring sequel The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement is an unneeded sequel and for adults the movie isn't very good. Mia {Anne Hathaway}, the new princess of Genovia, is ready to assume her role when she learns she may have to become queen even sooner than expected. The catch: she must get married first. With the help of her grandmother {Julie Andrews}, they begin to weed through possible candidates. I think the plot was a little weak and of course the film is predictable. The first one had a lot more charm but this sequel is rather boring. Sometimes the film is charming and that's due to its likable cast. Anne Hathaway does a great job but she can't save the film. Julie Andrews does a good job as well but her singing return was a little disappointing. Heather Matarazzo, Raven ,Larry Miller and Caroline Goodall all have small roles and they do a decent job but I think they could have left out Ravens character. Garry Marshall returns to direct and while he does a better job with this film then Raising Helen, he still could have tried harder with this one. The movie is very unrealistic as well but its a kids movie and it has a fairy tale story so it doesn't try to be realistic. There are a lot of cheesy scenes like the slumber party and most of these scenes are just not funny or enjoyable. I actually enjoyed the first one but this one was just long and not very interesting. The film is 113 minutes long but they don't have a lot of interesting material to fill the running time. The kids I saw it with didn't like it that much either also most of the funny lines are used in the trailer so it doesn't extend much past that. Rating 6/10, skip this sequel and go watch Ella Enchanted it's a lot more enjoyable.

Not too bad
27 July 2023
I actually thought it was quite good I know I'm going out on a limb in saying I like this movie, as wherever I go there is always someone who looks down on the Barbie movies with scorn. Although I am not the main target audience(I'm 20) and although none are among the best movies in the world, I do get some pleasure out of them, especially Nutcracker, especially for the music and the characters. Barbie in A Christmas Carol is not one of my favourites in the franchise, but I did like that it had its heart in the right place and it is a nice movie to me. The dialogue is on the corny side, I did find the Ghost of Christmas Past annoying and the animation is not as good as that of Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Diamond Castle, having moments that are either too flat in colour or over-saturated, even then there are some nice moments still. What tempted me in the first place in seeing this movie was not just that it was Barbie, but also what they would do with such a great story that has been told so many times and of course the colourful cover. Surprisingly the story is told very nicely, parts are toned down a little to make potentially scary parts like The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come but considering the target audience this was appropriate, and the storytelling overall maintained the story's heart and sentiment with a heart-warming ending and not too much of an overly-sentimental air. Again, not one of the best adaptations of the story, but a long way from the worst. The music is sprightly and really puts you in a mood for the festive season, and the characters are great on the whole, although I liked the change of pace for Barbie from brave, strong-minded and resourceful to the less idealistic values of selfish to sympathetic my favourite character was Chuzzlewit, who is so funny in his clumsiness and adorable. The voice acting is good, Kelly Sheridan is such a talented voice actress to me, from Nutcracker she showed great promise and is getting better and better every time I hear her. Overall, quite good in my opinion.

Heart touching movie, it makes me cry!
30 April 2023
This movie has it all, Its got great actors, a great script, great action scenes, beautiful cinematography and visuals, and touching characters that leave a deep impression on your soul. Its a standout Disney film that may become a classic, its definitely one of the best dog and human relationship based films that I have ever seen (if not the best), especially if your a dog owner/lover. It had me on the edge of my seat with my heart filled with emotion during the action scenes, and tears welling up in a few others, its a great film that I will never forget. The visuals of some of the action scenes are printed in my memory forever--some really great shots, I don't remember being so gripped by a pack of dogs and their master, you will be touched for sure, and its based on a true story so you will be intrigued by the historical significance of the main characters in this movie. And Togo is a true hero (THE true hero--you'll know what I mean after you watch the movie), and so is his owner, its a great film. Willem Dafoe was excellent in this movie, and so was the actress who plays his wife, like I said, its got a great cast including the dog-actors that really hit the mark and are so beautiful too. I guarantee people will be naming their dogs Togo this year and in years to come, and the siberian husky breed will be recognized even more for their amazing strength, intelligence, and their ability to bond and interact with humans on deep levels.

Fun & Entertaining
30 April 2023
I loved this movie and although it may have been slightly cliché, the dialog was quite smart and it was quite a funny movie. I think that if you expect the movie to be Oscar worthy, it will obviously fall short. But as it only attempts to be a sweet story about a misfit 15 year old turned princess, it completely lives up to it's potential. I think that Julie Andrews completely made the movie and that Anne Hathaway also did an excellent job. The movie is great for people of all ages because it has a simplistic plot yet has great one liners and great repartee between the characters of the Queen and Princess Mia. I also think that the minor characters are great also because they provide even more comic relief.

Perfect Treat for New Year!
29 April 2023
I really loved this. The animation was better than in any prior Peanuts special, and the characters all looked great. Interestingly, Charles Schulz himself didn't much like the drawing and animation in the old Peanuts specials produced when he was still with us. I think he'd love this. So well done! Authentic, yet new things have been added, including a refreshed characterization of Lucy, and it's very welcome. One of the reasons I liked "The Peanuts Movie" is that Snoopy was changed so that he actually cared about Charlie Brown. In the strip, he didn't even seem to recognize his owner, and that always kind of irritated me. The producers of the movie fixed that, and Snoopy was much more likable IMO. Same deal with Lucy in this special. Her story was very moving and believable as to how a child might feel about a beloved relative not coming for Christmas.

I love this Vampire movie a lot!
29 April 2023
What an amazing movie, i don't know how anyone could rate it below 5 stars? What?! The plot twist is amazing, and some points of the critics are unnoticeable. The acting, the theme, the plot are so good. My only problem is with the trailer, it basically shows the whole movie, like what? There's no reason to watch it after watching the trailer, thank god I didn't watch the trailer before watching the movie.

Plus The cast really fits in this role, perfect cast choice. Everything is suspenseful as if you're really in the movie, unlike the critics who say that it wasn't scary, at least it was suspenseful and a bit scary, but there are not many jumpscares in this movie, just suspense and anxiety.

Well done.

Still enjoyable movie for horror comedy.
28 April 2023
I've read a few comments talking about how horrible it is lol and honestly it's not that bad for what it is. Don't go into this movie with high expectations, it's not a serious movie what so ever it's just something they did for the fun of it tbh. This movie isn't like zombie land or Shaun of the dead and it's not ment to be haha. Like people talking about "how do they come to terms that it is zombies right off the bat and nothing else" the reason so is because Adam Driver character Ronnie "Read the script" and Caleb Landry Jones Character Bobby "has seen a lot of zombie movies" lol. Like come on. Hell, the theme of the movie plays on the radio and Bill asks what is this song it sounds familiar?? Adam literally tells him the name of the song and that it's the theme for the movie... like come on lmao you should know not to take this movie seriously. All in all don't go into this expecting something big. I'd say it like a 5.5 or 6 out of 10, but its enjoyable at the score for me.

Awful...just awful. I mean unless you want millennial Scooby-Doo.
28 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Gone is the 60s attire and tone and music that has been a staple of Scooby forever, replaced with awful 2020 setting and music...and no, I'm no boomer. This movie sucks. It's not a "prequel" like advertised, and they've turned the characters into freakin caricatures of themselves with a millennial twist. For some reason they felt the need to make Velma into a Spanish girl who switches into speaking Spanish like Dora the explorer. Why not just add a new character to the team instead? It's not like they haven't recruited other people temporarily before. It's just seems like unnecessary pandering. I also don't understand the Simon Cowell thing...weird. The other thing that really bothered me is that Scooby talks a LOT...like abnormally so, and in full sentences too. That is not something I remember seeing in anything previously and my kid watches a lot of Scooby. I don't care for the 2020 plot setting either...they use cellphones and hashtags and stuff. It just feels so not Scooby. Whole I'm at it, Fred looks weird and they made him into essentially Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin level of stupid. Also Will Forte voices Shaggy and it's pretty awful...he sounds nothing like him. None of these things are helped by the awful plot either.

This movie was amazing.
28 April 2023
I don't understand why people are giving such bad reviews. This movie was amazing.

Of course, the storyline is a little basic but basic plots don't always get productions this good. Especially because I'm a disney lover, I enjoyed the characters, the plot, and the songs they composed! I feel like the actors and actresses in this movie had such a fun time making it. I also loved the little easter eggs to some other disney movies.

Amy Adams, even up to this day, is still so graceful and elegant. Though her "split personality" isn't the best acting I've seen, I thought it was very fun watching her do this.

I'm so glad they made this second movie!!

Family Movie.

I am a great fan of Canadian geese. Where I work we have a flock that lands every year and love to watch them have their babies, develop and then fly off in autumn to warmer weather and welcome them back each year. Unfortunately this year due to lock down am missing them and seeing their babies.

I loved this movie. It is a heart warming story that inspires a respect for nature and healthy family relationships. The scenery is captivating as well. This shows how humans can live at peace with other creatures on our World, if those creatures are treated with love and respect!

I highly recommend this movie for all audiences.

That kid cracks me up.
27 April 2023
John Ritter could act well in great films like Sling Blade, but what he will always be fondly remembered best as the comic foil in silly, slapstick loaded, guilty pleasures like Three's Company and the Problem Child films. I'm not recommending renting them but if you catch them on TV then you can expect a solid couple hours of fun, and what more do you expect from basic cable. If Airplane! And Top Secret are 10s and an episode of an average sitcom is a 4 then this is a definite 8. That kid just is trying so hard to make you laugh with his corny bow tie and his personality that is part nerd part Satan. Finally, I simply love any climax that revolves around the complete destruction of a wedding ceremony. This is a comedy whose cast that knows exactly what the film is and embraces it with gusto.

Heartwarming movie

I love the movie Matilda because the movie was about a girl name Matilda who has powers and she is smart as well she did very well at the end and also I like her teacher miss Honey it was just a great movie watch the movie it is good and also I think that Ms Trunchbull ran away and has never been seen ever again and also I saw Ms Honey's students got surprised when Ms Honey said "I am not 7 years old aunt Trunchbull" and I think Matilda is strong and smart. Matilda did the best pranks on her family and Ms Trunchbull and it made me laugh and they were just the funniest pranks i ever seen. And also the part where she dance was my favorite scene because the music was just a great song i love Matilda's dance moves in that scene. I actually saw the movie Matilda at school just 2 years ago and I love the movie well first I read the book and then I watch the trailer and then i watch the movie Matilda and I love it allot. And great acting by Mara Wilson. And I love the movie so much so watch it it is 10/10 good and the movie Matilda was a funny and great movie. And Matilda is related to Harry Potter imagined if Harry Potter was in Matilda that would be funny. Not only I love the movie Matilda but I had love Mara Wilson ever since. Ms Jennifer Honey and Matilda are best friends the movie is a great movie to watch and also her parents and brother are rude including ms trunchbull but she defeat them and I one question WHERE IS MATILDA 2? I just wanna know where the next Matilda will come out and also great acting by Mara Wilson, Danny Devito, Pam Ferris, Embeth Davidtz, and Rhea Perlman this is one of the best movies I have ever seen.

Bad CGI but it still entertaining me

I cannot believe this movie got such a low rating! I mean, okay to be honest the snakes looked a bit unrealistic and there might be few things incorrect factually, but that does not mean this movie deserves such a low review..... For a starter, they got the culture right where they spoke in Indonesian at the start of the film (foreign people often think only Malay language is spoken in Borneo). Two, the acting was amazing... All of them did their part great... Three, the movie has a decent storyline and lastly, it is interesting to watch and by that I mean you can watch this movie a few times..
