The Ringer (2005)
A very solid movie
This in my opinion may be Johnny Knoxville's finest acted movie. He acts his role as Steve barker very well, and the leading actress Katherine Heigl who plays Lynn Sheridan is very solid as well. This movie is funny without being offensive, and it makes a good point. The only negative thing i have to say about the movie is when Knoxville's character reveals he's been pretending to be mentally challenged and Lynn gets up and slaps him. I did not like towards the end how easily Lynn forgave Steve barker. It seemed a little too easy to me for her to forgive him, but other than that it is a very solid movie and i would highly recommend seeing it.
King Kong (2005)
The Best Movie I've Ever seen
To all those criticizing this film, you simply do not know what you are talking about. The First hour of the film takes us through new york in the depression era and introduces all of the characters. The second hour takes us to skull island and finally the third hour takes us back to Manhattan. This film is simply amazing. Every single one of the actors including Andy Serkis, who plays Kong are cast perfectly. King Kong looks absolutely amazing, and the third hour of the movie will break your heart. Sadly, this film will probably not get it's due credit, simply because people will criticize it mainly for nothing happening in the first hour. It's called character development people, which is masterfully done. Adrain Brody is absolutely perfect in his role, and jack black is just as good. Naiomi Watts should get an Oscar for her performance. In short this film is a masterpiece, and i would strongly urge people to go see this wonderful film. It is simply amazing.
