HIT: The 2nd Case (2022)
Adivi Sesh's weakest work so far!
The story in itself was not really great and so the screenplay, a genre like this is adivi Sesh's strong point generally and he really out performed himself in his previous movies with this kind of subjects (thrillers) but he really disappointed with this one. Many loopholes and not so logical, these are the most important factors that convince audience in thrillers like this one, but nothing really makes sense in this one, the only reason people are hyping it was because of adivi Sesh's screen presence (but his performance was not that great in this particular one compared to his previous work) and it being a part of Hit verse ( the first HIT was actually better than this) there's nothing to talk about suhaas in this, i felt even he was not portrayed in a convincing and realistic manner, when we talk about crime thrillers the space for error has to be kept as Little as possible but this feels like a commercial movie, detailing and logic are the things that make movies like this interesting and thrilling, that's where the director failed, a weak story with a poor screenplay. Hope to see better story in the next movie of this Hit-verse.
Never Have I Ever (2020)
People who gave 10 star rating, please stop reviewing. Period.
Watch it because it's quarantine and that's it. A bit dragged, unnecessary dialogues at places and it's nothing like 'never have we ever' watched something like this.
Lady Bird (2017)
Such a waste of time! So boring.
There's literally nothing new to offer in this movie, over hyped. We can happily skip this one.
Madha (2020)
Good plot, bad execution
You can literally start the movie, go to sleep and wake up in the last 10mins of the movie. The movie is all about that last 10 mins and the rest is just so poorly executed and not convincing at any point in time. The story was actually good but the drama surrounding it is too unrealistic and Illogical. Like I said watch the last 10mins and don't waste your time on this one.
Saaho (2019)
High octane action thriller, too complex even for the director to portray it!
Saaho! India's biggest action thriller. I have to agree with that, because the action sequences and the CGI behind those scenes are like never seen before atleast in the Indian movies. But most of them have been inspired or conceived from many English action thrillers. But they made it convincing enough to appeal to the Indian audience. The problem here is all about the story. This is a story that has many layers and shades and ofcourse many twists and surprises to it and they needed to be built up for a bit before they could be revealed. But I have to say, Sujeeth who has penned this script and directed it, could have done a lot more to feed it into the minds of audience. There's a divide among the audience regarding it's understandability and we can understand that because the way the movie goes, is too complex. Not everyone is used to watch that kind of movies and understand. I personally felt the twists and turns in the movie could have be revealed throughout the story in a step-ladder patter rather than infusing all the surprises at the end, where the audience would be confused whether to concentrate on the action sequences happening or the twists that are being revealed before they could even understand. The love track was also weak, not convincing enough to make huge impact in the main theme of the story and the songs really messed up the flow. Songs were good individually but they don't fit into the story as they were placed. But the movie has a lot to offer more than its negatives. The performances of prabhas, Shraddha and all the supporting cast was upto the mark. The bgm was good but at some places it was over shadowing the dialogues. My feeling is that it's a good watch because it really makes the audience thrilled with its action episodes and that itself is worth the bucks! And it's not a one time watch, because it needs to be watched twice given its complexity and people would be in more awe if they see it twice! The reviews this movie received on it's first day are too aggressively negative! Just put aside all that and watch the movie like it's prabhas in the movie but not bahubali!
