Turnover (2019)
A TRUE GEM
I watched Turnover not knowing what to expect. It delivered nothing but a sincere and heartfelt message. I loved the cast and different characters the film introduced and I grew to know. The film was genuine and truly a gem. 10/10 highly recommend.
Miss Multiverse - Australia (2019)
THE PERFECT MIX OF BEAUTY, BRAINS, AND GUTS
Unlike most modeling competition, Miss Multiverse gives us the real and raw of what it really takes to get to the top in the modeling industry. Real women, with Real emotions, sometimes fun, but often a ride that is unexpected in the best way. Highly entertaining, though these are real experiences. Hoping for another season or some continuation of the show.
Purdah (2018)
Gripping Cinematography & Story!
As a woman, seeing this film opened my eyes to perspectives of what it is like in different countries, and how it is so important for women to see themselves in equal light as men. I thoroughly enjoyed the cinematography from the very moment I clicked play. The Direction was amazing as well. Would love to see more from this director.
Queen & Slim (2019)
Authentic feeling
The film was a beautiful yet striking journey and though all of our favorite love stories have definite endings, this one tied two purposes together. The director did a phenomenal job and everyone involved for that matter. This is a film I'm rooting for. Hope it stays in theaters longer than 2 weeks.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
Movie was decent
It was as expected, a Harry Potter "type" format. Biggest thing it lacked was action. Wasted a lot of time trying to get to the point and when they did the action was lack luster.
Creed II (2018)
It was hyped but not bad
It was ok. We all know the story of Apollo creed. This is it, again... but with an exception and more of a family perspective. I recommend seeing it for the heck of it but not for any amazing thrill. It's more of a "just here because everyone else" is film. Something major was missing but I couldn't figure it out.
