Cinderella (I) (1965 TV Movie)
10/10
A Queen Made in Secret
22 December 2008
I agree, the classic Cinderella movie is the essence of dreams for many young women. I saw this movie with my Big Mama and Little Mama, in 1965 until it stopped appearing for they both passed away. The Wizard of Oz would show first, then came Cinderella. This movie provided me hope for ten years later, I was crowned the high school queen of my entire school. My life was similar to ashes, but I watched Cinderella each year with my two grannies and that day came when I was crowned a Queen. I finally purchased it on DVD, and every year I watch Cinderella and the Wizard of Oz to celebrate those precious moment shared with both my grannies (mother and daughter)

Loving and Gentle Movie
26 January 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This is a great movie. I felt love flowing and the characters connected. The choice of actors in this movie was like magic. The cast connected which allowed the movie to have strong emotions. I would love to see it again and again. I love the part where her ashes were released back to earth. I love they way they loved each other. I sure hope it comes back on again tonight. I so love movies that connect the people, then the plot is easy to enjoy. I like feeling the emotions of people in the cast. This is a movie that I could have written or played a part of the cast. I love being in love and feeling love. Love is strong and love is powerful. To touch and to love to embrace is living.

I Can Feel the strength of this movie Every time!
23 November 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I have watched this movie for years with my grannies, and we would all be in tears...for awhile. But today November 23, 2005 while making my potatoe salad I realized something that I had never really paid much attention to in my earlier review. The down on her luck actress became blessed the moment she provided shelter to a God fearing woman and her daughter. I saw how four people opened their hearts and gave life a chance without the remarks and concerns of outside people voices. The respect and kindness and touchy moments grabbed and captured me completely. The classic attire was sensation and I love mink trimmed suits and nice earrings that match the necklace. This movie should be celebrated on a whole knew level. And the character Steve makes my heart melt every time. He is very charming, pure heart and with strong character. I have tried so many times to share that love can happen at first sight, as so it was with Adam and Eve, Isaac and Rebehak, the moment she slide off one of the ten camels and I will not take it back. Steve is the kind of man that I would marry, and as a matter of fact there is a young man in my church which is a mega church whom has the characteristic of the character Steve and they kinda favor...you know he has been watching me, and he too is 6'4 and with a special charm and strength combined. Who knows, he might become my husband. I already love him. I have this movie now on DVD and someone asked to take it home with them to watch...I am sorry, this movie does not leave my home! I have seen many movies, for I do appreciate and love movies. The funeral of Ms. Annie Johnson which is my real mothers name makes me think of Elijah how he was carried to heaven by horses and chariots of fire (II Kings 2:11). The flowers over her casket...simply beautiful and warm. Ms. Jackson singing a song that reminded me that we are to celebrate such homegoing...Elijah went home in high fashion heaven style. The Troubles of this world. Proverbs 21:23, Psalms 25:22, Mark 13:8 and Revelation 19:14. Such a wonderful movie and the acting is just marvelous.
