How I Met Your Father: Ride or Die (2023) Season 2, Episode 5

Kinda good

Not bad, its actually good. The plot is kind stupid, but at least is kinda funny. The characters are much better then in the last episode, but i still think 7 is too much for a comedy show. Charlie is again the best thing on the show. Sid is again a normal person and jesse finally got some sense. Valentina gets to be again the most annoying character of the episode, but is became a better person. Overall a good episode, but still not funny enough to be consider a good comedy show. Lets see what the future could bring. Still far away from being worthy of How I Met Your Mother Universe.

PS: Ellen finally becomes human in this episode.

The Flash: Wednesday Ever After (2023) Season 9, Episode 1

Just meh

So I really hoped that this would be the start of the redemption arc for the Flash, but it doesnt look like it. The shows keeps being inconsistent, with barry´s speed being turn up when needed but nerf when needed. Cecille is just becoming the cringiest character on the show and the storyline is really all over the place. Iris is quite ok in this episode, she was actually for the first time in years, the voice of reason. Im looking foward to Red Death, even tought is Batwomen, the worst character of the Arrowverse. Its looks like the budget finally is being use, with good CGI and cinematography that looks not like a fan film. Not a bad episode, just a very meh one. Really hope that this gets to be the worst of the season.

How I Met Your Father: Midwife Crisis (2023) Season 2, Episode 2

Its simply not funny

30 minutes of television and i did not laught once. All the plotlines are dumb. The plot of Sophie and Valetina doesnt make sense... First of all who the hell would lie about being able to help a women give birth? Like wtf... Then the water is too hot, so what they do? Go buy ice? Take the water from the pool? Put cold water on the pool? No, they go to Ramona´s house and get schrimp to put in the pool... This show seams like a Disney Tv Series... None of the characters are good people apart from Charlie... Jesse is just there, Sid is kinda dumb and easy to manipulate, Valentina is the wrost person on the show and sophie is a lier and manipulative person. Ellen was one of my favourite characters, but now she is just this women that is mad with everyone and thinks that everythings but be about her...

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (2022– )

I love it but, what the Ahsoka's arc wasnt real necessary. I really think that 6 episodes about dooku would be much better.

Dooku is by far the character that benefits the most with this new mini-series. His arc his the best and one of the best things Lucasfilm has done... I Want, well, i need a show all about Dooku. Amazing amazing character.

The ahsoka's arc is really only made because dave loves the characters. It adds almost nothing to the story of Ahsoka or the Jedi.

I would give it a 10 if 6 episodes were about dooku.

Still is great to see new star wars content.

Visually the show is amazing.

I like the episode and the story but i do think that this show would have work much better if each week we got 2 episodes... That would make the show even better.

Very weak episode

Not the worst one, but an episode that for me it fell to connect with me.

The Kamran plot is so stupid, he didnt do anything wrong but they wanted to turn him into almost villain character just to Kamala change his mind in 10s (at least they didnt went with the cliché of having kamran becoming a full villain just because he didnt took the time to listen to Kamala) In the MCU Pakistan and USA must be like 10 min away because somehow, Kamala and her mom where in their house in Pakistan in the same moment when Bruno's store went boom and they still return to USA, went home, the mom maker her the costume all in time to meet Bruno that had just left the train like 2h ago But this time of things are normal in this shows, so i dont take it in account Now, there was a lot of WTF moments for me in this finale.

Zoe being throw in the last episode just for the sake of having her being redeem.

All the plot of Kamran The way they made Kamala being name Ms Marvel is so unoriginal.

Some editing choose were so bad, like when Bruno and Kamran are in the alley, and they cut in so strange way to reveal Kamala

And they did the "pose scene showing the grow of the character" so many times in this show, particularly in this episode that the last one felt cheap.

The "you have a mutation" scene was to predictable and is pretty much clear that they only did it to create some hype around the finale

The DOD are just criminals and dumb officers of the law. By sidelining them for 4 ep just to make them the big villains... it didnt work.

Ms. Marvel started in a fresh and amazing way but with ep 4 it started to feel like every one mcu series.

It also feels like more 2 episodes would have help the show a lot.

In short, this show (for me) didnt connect with me.

It started with this amazing visual choices to become the most normal show in Disney Plus full with cliches.

I really hope this opinion is "wrong" and peolpe in general liked the show.

But for me is another mcu generic thing.

Ms. Marvel: Time and Again (2022) Season 1, Episode 5

Did I miss something?

So did I miss something or this episode was just very bad?

The story of the episode is not bad but the execution and editing are just terrible.

And nothing explains more what I'm saying than the last scene between Bruno and Kamran what the hell was that?

The scene ended abruptly, really strange.

The scene where Kamran gets his power is so bad, like wtf The story is good, but the way they did omg Najma is probably one of the dumbest characters in the MCU.

She kills the only person that knows where the bracelet is and then 70 years she kills herself to protect the world she is trying to get out since 1940 (even thought she couldnt possibly know that her died would stop the portal) and then in a strange editing choose we just see Kamran getting his powers.

Also, the scene where Sana finds her father... So Kamala was helping her grandmom, then she fells on the ground and out of blue Sana creats this stars that guide her to her father.

But like he is 3ft way from her, and how did the stars guide her to Hasan, if the stars just appear for like 10s?

I possibly miss something.

But one thing is for sure This episode felt rush and like they didnt knew how to resolve a lot of things They need to have the clandestines gone, so they just went a way, they need Kamran to get powers so he just got them (without build up, something that is really strange) The worst episode yet, really hope episode 6 gets to be as good has the first 2 episodes.

If i miss something please tell me.

The worst one...but not bad

This episode first half was good, but then after Kamala goes to the camp fire it really starts to go down fast.

I'm portuguese, so maybe thats why i feel like this but i feel they spend to much time in this show focus on Cultural aspects rather then the story itselfs The Partition wasnt well explain so i need to look more into to that.

But again, i dont buy that those guys are the villains and i dont buy that the red daggers are the "heroes" because we didnt spend time with them.

The show is cool but... at the same time kinda boring.

This should have been the second episode, not the 4th one Really want to like 5th and 6th.

Moon Knight: The Goldfish Problem (2022) Season 1, Episode 1

So finally the MCU gave us something that is not a Comedy Super Hero flick.

Finally we dont have a main character that only has one characteristic, a best friend that only makes jokes and a villain that is just a comedian with life issues.

I think the MCU really did to change their formula, and maybe this is the first attempt on doing it.

The Power of the Dog (2021)

So after seeing Thw Power of the Dog and cleary fell this movie is not for me.

But i question myself, did i miss something?

For me this movie being in oscar nominee is quite strange.

Bennedict is very good, but this movie's fall for me is the lack of character build.

The movie is slow in the first 2 moments, and then gets to fast Phill becames friend of peter from the blue.

And then peter kills him.

More scenes and moments showing the beging of their relatationship would be good.

The first two parts are horrible.

They could and need to be use to creat relatationship moments.

Phil death should, at least for what i think the director want, seem a "good thing" But peter just feels, not a revenger, but just a sociopath Maybe i need to see the movie again?

Maybe.

How I Met Your Father: Timing Is Everything (2022) Season 1, Episode 10

Is not a 10/10. But its good

So the biggest of the show still continues to happen, things happen too fast.

Sid wants to marry, then he doesnt and then he does it again.

Jesse and Sophie story is too fast And then since i dont feel a conection between ian and sophie, the finale lacks feeling.

But robin steel the show and charlie is by far the best character, and i didnt hate valentina.

In the future i see all the gang from himym appear to help the characters of HIMYF Barney helping Charlie since they both at some point did want children and a marry life Marshall helping Sid since they both have marry life problems Lilly helping valentina since they were both sad at one point with there workplace Ted helping Jesse since they were both at one point crazy in love with a women

Still think that the show can get much better.

Season: 7.5/10.

How I Met my Disapointment

After the last episode was sincerely waiting for a significant improvement over the rest of the series, but unfortunately this did not happen.

The series continues to try to create "myths" for the series, but these are visibly forced.

In this episode the idea of bracelets does not work at all.

First because the idea was introduced in haste without any sentimental value and second, and by far the most important, the relationship between Sophie and Jesse is not credible.

Now let's talk about characters.

Charlie and Ellen are by far the best characters, because they are the only ones who have faced real problems and managed to solve them, despite everything being very fast.

Valentina continues to be an insufferable character, keeping as her only characteristic being a woman obsessed with making jokes about sex, drugs and alcohol while being a terrible friend and girlfriend.

Sophie is practically non-existent in this episode, so there's not much to talk about.

The big problem with this series is the way they create and solve problems in less than 5 minutes. For example, Jesse and Sid decide to close themselves at home to be able to do productive work, but in less than 1 min they both stop what they are doing to go see tik toks... After 3 scenes they reveal to each other that in reality neither of them wanted to do the productive work... But that was already clear, in fact they close themselves at home for the same reason.

It would be much better to have one of them "sabotage" the other's work, and then have both of them talk about the reason for that same sabotage... But even worse is these two problems that Jesse and Sid reveal, it's resolved in the scene immediately following.

In doing so, writers prevent characters from growing and developing.

By the way, stop obsessing about making sex jokes... they're not funny and don't fit the way you want to tell the story.

In short, having 6 characters and trying to tell a story like that is practically impossible.

If any of the writers have anything to do with it, it's okay for some episodes to focus on just one character and ignore the rest. I want to like this series, but this is almost impossible.

Jesse and Sid continue to look like strangers who happen to live together when they are supposed to be best friends.

Death on the Nile (2022)

Good but very easy to predict

So i see a lot of people being toxic and dislike this show.

People hoped that Luke, Ahsoka or something like that appear on the finale.

My question is... why would that happen?

If you dont like the finale because you wanted to someone appear, that is just sad.

You are seeing the Boba Fett Show.

Boba was amazing this episode.

The classic hate of Star Wars Fans is gonna appear one more time.

Star Wara Theory and other channels are one of the guilty for this. The guy just hyped up everyone, he accutally wanted a Luke Clone to appear, like wtf?

This show is about Boba Fett.

Again, this show is about Boba Fett, and he is not soft, he is different.

Stop bitching around This is not 10/10 because i did not like the Grogu and mando situation and the post credit scene is kinda dumb.

Robert Rodriguez is good, but not good enough to have a full show.

To the series I give 8.5/10.

So... i just want to ask something... We dont care about the characters... Like i dont care about Shopie and Drew because the story isnt good enough Ellen just now starts to no like her brother, when nothing seem to show that.

Valentina is horrible writen.

So Valentina is the worst character of the show.

This are going to quickly, i would Sophie want to date a guy that she meet 2 times?

I would charlie even want Valentina again after she was a dick to him, 2 times in 2 episodes?

Cleary Valentina is Marshall and Sophie is Ted.... Valentina says that she doesnt want to be "told" want to do just to the next scene be completed different. I really dont see this series getting pick up for a second season.

Charlie is by far the best character on the show. Sid is also cool and Ellen can become the best character on show.

Big promises, but big fails

While the story has some good elements its lacks that heart that made How I Met Your Mother the best comedy show ever.

First of all its kind dumb that they wants to fell bad about Sophie and Ian´s relationship when we just meet them, so the story just falls.

Second its kind forced the way they wants to like Valentina... And Third by revealing that the Father is part of the group, the purpose of the show just dies. Why would future sophie tell her kid that she is going to tell the story of how she meet his father when she reveals how she met him? The story should have been How I Fell in Love with Your Father.

PS: The apartment being the same is kind cool.

Im just sad Tobey didnt have more screentime with Ned, MJ and even Tom.

Really wanted to see what happen to Tobey and Andrew after their movies.

This movie could have adress that.

In the last 4 episodes the series seems to have been written by other writers.

Ruby was the best character of the show in the 1st half just to have 10 min lines with the 2nd half of the show.

No one cares about maeve and otis as a couple.

Please fix this in s4 Ruby and otis as a couple was the best thing ever done in sex Education.

I undestand why B99 finds the need to talk about police problems, but this is not the way to do it.

Having a police comedy bashing on real police is just sad.

They could use the show to show that there is good guys in both sides, but they dont.

That is the problem about this episode.

Is not bad as the first one, but is not even close to what B99 used to be.

They could have use this episode to show that the Police is also suffering with this situation.

When politics becames the main thing in a show that is not about politics... is always bad.

This series has 3 big problems: Iris character is horrible written, that makes the show horrible.

The love thing is one of the overuse plots that makes the series feel cheap The series doenst have groups of characters anymore like it had in S1/S2, ... Barry is just a second characters, with iris being the main one.
