Locke & Key: The Snow Globe (2022)
This is a promising start
Starting off with mysterious new characters, badass moments, dope fights and great introductions to new keys. This is more enjoyable than the first episode of season two, by far.
Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (2022)
greAter than you mAy think
I'll admit it, i was a bit sceptical when i heard about this spin-off, but oh boy was i wrong.
The characters, settings, A, plot, everything is carefully planned and calculated. I am exited!
What If...? (2021)
What if...this show was better
Look, i love almost everything marvel puts out, however «What if» didn't sit with me like other projects did.
From the variation in the animation quality, to different voice actors. If it wasn't for the huge Marvel logo on the poster, this show could pass for something completely different.
Some episodes are great! Like the Dr. Strange one or the second to last. But episodes like «Party Thor» and the «Zombies» episode are just dragging on and on.
I really hope they step up for the 2nd season, because there are great moments and episodes in this show, it's just that it varies to much to be a continuous good experience.
Riverdale: Chapter Ninety-Four: Next to Normal (2021)
We really needed this Wandavision episode!
Such great character development for Wanda, sorry i mean Alice. I fond it kind of wierd that all of the characters changed names, but the musical numbers were good! It's a nice change of pace to be outside of Westview, and somewhere new. Riv-Naur-Dayl is a really interesting location.
It's nice to see that wanda and vision are trying to hold it totgether after the loss of their children, Wiccan (Polly) and Speed (Charles). It's a little wierd that this episode released 6 months after the 9th one.
Exited for the new season :)
Doom Patrol (2019)
The most unique superhero show as of now
Doom patrol could be summed up in two word:
Absolutely amazing!
The characters, the scenery, the dialouge, everything about Doom Patrol is amazing.
Crazy Jane has an amazing backstory, and a really cool powers. And surprisingly: She's great representation for the mentally ill.
Every character, such as Cyborg and Rita in season two get's a great character-arc. And Clifford and Janes relationship works without feeling forced and/or wierd
Everyone: Watch this. Now.
Black Widow (2021)
Amazinf Movie, But Flawed
Whilst Black Widow may not have been everyone's cup of tea, I personally enjoyed it alot when i watched it at the movies. It had a great plot, amazing characters, and FANTASTIC music!
The problems i found with the movie was unfortunately 3 things. Villain, timing, and Yelena.
I loved Yelena's character, don't get me wrong. But as a last tribute to Natasha, it was unfortunate that only a minor part of the plot felt like it was about her. Since this is (most likely) the last time we'll see Nat, it was quite irritating that this was the movie they chose to set up Yelena's future in the MCU.
Now onto the villain: Taskmaster. Whilst taskmaster is an EXCELLENT choice for this movie, and personally one of my favorite villiana of all time, it felt not only odd, but also dumb that they genderswapped the character. I would MUCH rather have it that it turns out Dreykovs daughter ran the red room and wanted revenge on Nat, rather than her being a mindless puppet.
Lastly is a small but unfortunate problem: The Timing! If this would have come out before infinity war, it would have felt so much more refreshing. Especially since it sets up the future and takes place after Civil War.
But nonetheless it was an amzing action movie that i would recommend to anyone who's a fan of greatly coordinated fights, DOPE music and Black Widow herself!
Rick and Morty: Big Trouble in Little Sanchez (2015)
B plot surpasses the A plot
The tiny Rick storyline never sat right with me. I never really cared for it and frankly thought it was boring!
However the B-plot surpassed EVERY expectation i had. It was funny, unique, suspenseful and there was no Rick involved. Would have loved to see this as an entire episode insted of having to follow through with the boring A-plot.
Rick and Morty: Mortyplicity (2021)
Might be the best episode yet!
This was up there with «Total Rickall» on the scale. This had, drama, action, confusion and a plot twist. You whilst watching felt as confused as the sanchez's were in this episode! Probably my personal favourite yet!
Rick and Morty: Mort Dinner Rick Andre (2021)
The Rick And Morty Experience
This episode truly shows the newcomers what this show can pull to get you hooked!
Definitely not the funniest episode they've ever made, and i would have liked for the episode to follow up on the ending of last season, however all that didn't really matter because of the creativity they showed in this episode
Mr. Nimbus and Jessica were both great additions to this episode and to see that Rick had a so-called "nemesis" was great for his character. And Jessica's ending opens up a lot of possibilities for future episodes with her being a "time god" all in all a fantastic episode but lacked continuity!
