I was expecting it to be bad, and it was worse

The awkward dubbing makes the scenes hard to follow. This movie feels like a really bad school play. It's story is really rushed, and barely coohearnt.

Unexpectedly good
15 September 2020
This movie was so much better than it had any right to be. Some very clever jokes, very lighthearted, and a story that was easy to follow. I am impressed with this movies ability to understand that their true audience has aged 10+ years. The jokes are mature enough for adults to laugh but, would work for almost all ages.

Turn your brain off for a few hours
7 July 2020
This is all action, it is a setup movie for a 4th installment of the franchise. I didn't expect to see a setup movie, but that's what it is. The franchise has been looking for a way to piss John Wick off as meaningfully as he was in John Wick 1, and it took an entire movie to achieve that. Its fun, brainless, and full of action.

Misleading trailer
5 August 2018
Honestly I know the movie is supposed to be mildly misleading, however I simply sat down expecting a sci fi action type movie. It is probably a better movie than I'm giving it but, my expectations were so different. It's like expecting to drink soda and, it is actually milk.

unbearable

Absolutely missed everything with this attempt. I really wanted to like this experience, but it just let me down scene after scene. I not only hated the two main characters, but I found myself rooting against them as they are the absolute worst.

Mad Max with some flair
30 January 2018
A fantastic, movie around a post apocalyptic world. It really feels like a movie that was made in the 80's. A good watch for anyone looking to not take a movie to seriously.

Oh the twists
30 January 2018
First off, this movie is awful, it has very few redeeming qualities. Segal has a really weird creepy role where he touches some poor girl and then shows people he knows basic martial arts. The end of the movie however, makes this an amazingly awful movie. It has twists, like 7 in a row. Who knew a movie with almost no plot could have so many twists. I both hated and loved this trash bag. Worth a good laugh.

Just a solid movie

This is a creative and unique take on the aliens have arrived movie cliche. I don't have much to say other than, it is a solid movie and if you like science fiction you should give it a watch.

Dead Franchise Tell No Tales
30 January 2018
These films are all just hot garbage. Cursed pirates are invincible but want to be able to feel, or die again need to be stopped by our main character. This is the plot to every Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Just hot Disney garbage.

Creativity at its finest
29 January 2018
You are stuck in the mind of the main character as he struggles to figure out what is what, and so do you. This film really is a 10 in creativity and to me that is so rare it doesn't get much better than this.

Not bad action
29 January 2018
Basically this movie is fine. It has one thing that bothered me the entire movie and that is, absolutely everyone in the movie is absurdly relaxed and "cool". Other than that this is a typical action movie with some very fun gun scenes.

Creative and Different
29 January 2018
This movie succeeds with me for the same reason it failed at the box office. It is creative, different, and it does not follow the safety rails of a typical Disney movie, it does way more and I applaud it for that.

Twisted and Brilliant

Warning: Spoilers
This is an amazing revenge story, where the viewer assumes the revenge is being gotten by the main character the entire movie. The ending ruined my brain for about 20 mins and I can't recommend this movie enough to anyone.

Slow but good
29 January 2018
I am a sucker for Tarantino, but this has well crafted dialog, interesting characters, and suspense created with a slow moving plot instead of exploding buildings.

Warning: Spoilers
Basically a movie made because, we like these actors, we like these songs, shove all of this in a shell of a story and we will eat it up. Things like this are getting tiresome. The main character of this kids movie doesn't pay his bills, his employees, he lies to get things, and is just a terrible person (koala), but as long as you never give up on your dream, everything will work out.

Eye opening documentary
3 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary was very good in that it shows the inner preparations and sacrifices of a strongman competitor (Eddie Hall). The suffering they put themselves and family through, for low monetary value was eye opening. It really humanizes the men that are on TV once a year to pull trucks or throw kegs over their head. They all have incredible aspirations to become the strongest among them. Eddie Hall has a skewed mindset from your normal husband and father of two. Where he sees his children and wife very little and honestly doesn't seem to care about their lives or problems for most the movie. The human inside comes through at the end. To be honest this film did more than grab my attention, I will most likely watch Worlds Strongest Man next year.
