Aladdin (2019)
10/10
One of the best Disney adaptations so far
26 May 2019
This movie gives the characters so much more background and story, they feel much more fleshed out. The city of Agrabah is alive and moving in this version which I feel is something the original lacked, every shot of the city you can see people moving around trading, buying, selling etc. For me this one and the original and are incomparable, because the original one tells the tale of Aladdin in a much more simpler way, where as this one adds a lot more to the story and tells the same story but with more background. If you are a fan of the original Aladdin then you are guaranteed to love this.

The unfortunate story of the Baudelaire orphans seems to have finally gotten a worthy adaptation.

The show stands on it's own, a wonderful silly and atmospheric piece of work. It has well written jokes and a good story line. It will take you on an incredible adventure as we get to follow the Baudelaire orphans and their beloved count Olaf. It has a bit of dark but yet silly humor, and all the actors give an outstanding performance! There were very few flaws and one thing that did bother was from time to time the jokes were a bit dry. But most of the time it was an absolutely wonderful and hysterical adventure! I can proudly recommend this Netflix original to anyone who wants a bit a of a different story or just wants to watch a great show with laughter and excitement through out! To all those who were a fan of the books I can say that you will enjoy each and every episode! 9/10

Remind me again why this got bad reviews?
6 January 2017
Arguably one of the best movies i've ever seen. It has a deep message and delivers it perfectly! I rarely cry in movies but this one made me shed a tear, it was funny and sad and the actors were absolutely brilliant! It seems like critics just gave this bad reviews because "it wasn't based on a true story (Since those are the only movies that actually get good reviews)" or because they saw a masterpiece and didn't want to admit how good it was (because you know critics). Half the cinema was crying at the end, it was so emotional and it had different twists and turns (especially at the end *wink* *wink*). I give this a 10/10 and a must see masterpiece!
