Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Loved this movie not only for the nostalgia
I think the actors were really good. Diversity was clearly visible being 2022. This film releasing in 2022 was such a good shout as the re-shoots needed to be done. I think £500m could have been made if it wasn't for covid and released in 2019.
The aerial scene and pilot angles were unbelievable. Seeing it from that view made the viewing experience that much better.
Now the storyline was good. Blast from the past and they manage to bridge both movies well with little information. Growing a few seeds into this movie.
Over all I think after 2 weeks I still think this is a great movie and would watch it again.
Sweet Girl (2021)
Honestly real bad acting from all cast
I have to say I'm a real movie buff and this really is one of the worst acting I've seen. I mean not realistic, *spoiler alert* the MMA sparing scene. Bullshit. She weight like 80lbs. No way is she pulling of any of the moves she pulled. Fighting grown ass men hmmm. Aquaman for fillip sake, they can't cast him as venerable after they have him as a superhero. Anyway. I watched it. It's done nothing major. Even the FBI was awful at believing they were cops. Just felt very scripted.
Journeyman (2017)
Great serious movie watch it with a loved one!
Really do like the movie. Good soundtrack too. I am a fan of MMA and after a Michael Bisping mentioned this film made his decision in retirement concrete I decided this is something I want to watch. I never liked boxing and the injuries one gets after their career is over. The luxuries are worth the suffering the richer and families go through. This movie shows us what a wife, child and friends go though after such events, if they overcome it and what relationships mean. I hope this movie helps others to make a decision for not only their health but their families too.
