"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!" is a great parody both of horror movies and of American culture, but mostly of the latter.
It's silly, it's over the top, and it's cheesy, but my God, is it a load of fun! If you know what you are getting yourself into and can appreciate something as ridiculous as this, you will love every second of it and laugh from pure delight at some of the gags the movie pulls off.
Some of them are silly to the point of being childish, but most are pure genius. The acting is exactly what you would expect from a movie like this, and that's both good and bad at the same time!
You can clearly see that the people making this movie were having a great time and really enjoyed being a part of it, and that's why, in my opinion, the movie deserves its title of a cult classic.
I recommend the movie, especially for a relaxing watch with some good friends! I give it 6.5/10, and I recommend it to everyone! It's not a perfect movie, but it's more than you hope it is and that's more than enough to warrant its existence!

"Swamp Thing" is not a masterpiece. It's a B movie from Wes Craven based on a comic book from a time when comic book movies were still seen as something not to be taken very seriously.
The movie, despite all of this, is thoroughly entertaining, warm, and charming. Yeah, it's obvious that Craven was hurt by the PG rating and limited budget, especially in the action scenes, which are really not worth talking about, but the acting is on point, and Adrienne Barbeau is here, so you can at least look at something even when there's nothing to look at. Also, let's all thank Mr. Craven for that bathing scene!
In the end, "Swamp Thing" is the best thing that could have happened in the circumstances it was made in, and I think it's an above-average movie for a one-and-done watch. Therefore, I give it a 7/10, and I recommend it to everyone who knows what to expect.

To get the most out of "Häxan", one has to analyze it in the time when it was made. Only then can one fully understand its importance, for when it first appeared, it was something new, sensational, and never before seen.
If we look at "Häxan" through a modern lens, the movie fails to hold its worth when compared to its fictional brethren like "Nosferatu" or "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari".
While some of its claims still hold true, a lot of it is dated and simply untrue; therefore, if you want to learn about the history of witchcraft, you are better off reading academic literature on the matter.
However, I think "Häxan" is still a valuable piece of movie history that did more for the horror movie genre than for cultural opinion on witchcraft or for history. Its visuals are still interesting to look at, and what is shown here surely raised the bar on what could be shown on the white screen.
Therefore, I give "Häxan" a 7/10, and I recommend it to anyone who knows to approach something critically and wants to learn a bit about horror movie history.
