While You Were Sleeping (1995)

Oh my goodness, FUNNY !!!

This film made me laugh so much that I forgot I could laugh like that!

When a toll-booth ticket collector daydreams about marrying the lawyer that buys a token from her (but never notices her) every day, things take an unexpected turn when he is pushed onto the line and gets knocked unconcious. With a train coming she pulls him to safety but mistakes get made at the hospital and the family think she's his fiance for real. Unable to tell the truth while he's in a coma, she slowly falls in love with her "fiance's" brother. One laugh after another plus some romantic feelings and warm family love. The plot sounds like it's been done before, but it hasn't, this was totally unexpected with one turn after another that kept me guessing ( and laughing!!!). Recommended if you have 2 hours that you can spare for almost no reason other than to laugh and laugh. Enjoy.

Rosie (I) (2018)

Nicely acted if sorrowful drama.

The desperation of homelessness with a young family to keep safe is portrayed well. I think it needed a happier ending, as the film left me feeling hopeless about their situation. If it had gone on for 15 minutes more they could have shown them finding a moderate property and the joy of the kids running around enjoying their new home.

That said, it was worth watching and I was engrossed enough to watch fully to the end. The couple were very realistic and I found myself hoping (against hope) that they would find something immediately and all stay together as a family without the children being split from their parents, which is a very real worry if you don't have a permanent home.

Maybe a sequel film, could keep the same characters and depict their struggle finally coming to an end and show them safe again.

Pure bliss. The stuff of real love stories to change your life. If this film was a drink it would be Baileys on ice with a scoop of ice cream served with love.

Love on Ice (2017 TV Movie)

Smashing!!!! A real clean family film that's heartwarming.

Never mind the ice skating leader board, it's this film that's a winner! 9-9-9! Lovely clean film full of wholesome exercise, beautiful ice dancing and warm cafe with friends moments. Everyone is slim and good looking so now's the time to start my diet so that I can "get back" in shape ready to watch Emily James "get back" to competitive skating. Romance quite rightly takes a back seat until the end of the competition so hang in there til the end. Lovely film.

The Right Girl (2015 TV Movie)

Sweet film.

This film was pretty predictable- spolied rude person needs a life lesson and ends up being kind and good. Although it doesn't sound very exciteable, it was actually really well acted and I really enjoyed the way all the characters interacted so well. In particular I thought the side plot romance of mum and pizza manager was thoughtful and well acted. Watching the main character throw herself in at work was lovely too and the pizza looked fab.

All of My Heart (2015 TV Movie)

Made me cry.

Such a beautiful film. I loved it totally. Laughed out loud and cried too. The lead man was superb and the leading lady was so pretty, they made a perfect pair. If only you could take this off film and make it real.

This was a nice film with good acting. I enjoyed watching them fall in love.

I especially enjoyed them shopping for clothes for the "man makeover" as they were having such a good time and I even laughed out loud along with them ( LOL ).

The film was good clean viewing which was also lovely.

Love Blossoms (2017 TV Movie)

Really enjoyed this film. I love perfumes and romance so what's not to like as there's plenty of both in this movie.

Watched it free with Amazon Prime which was a nice bonus too.
