My picks for top 10 movies - I did not include some dear franchises like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings though. They kinda feel too obvious plus I didn't want to go through picking any particular episode to represent the series.

These are not all of my favorite movies' directors solely. The idea of the list is more to list the characters who have their own style and personality that makes their films recognizable in a good way. That's why Michael Bay isn't on it.

On this list there are movies I think should be more universally praised. None of these are on top 250, many of which should. Some may be considered good but I think they are not valued enough high.
