Trash Truck (2020–2021)
10/10
Feel-good, wholesome viewing for the whole family.

This beautifully animated series follows a little boy with his friends (a trash truck, a mouse, raccoon and bear) as they play and learn about the world. The light-hearted tone of the show makes it an absolute joy to watch and will entertain all ages, the innocence of the characters is suitable for a very young audience whilst the script and screenplay keeps older viewers engaged.

Completely Unengaging and a Chore to Sit Through
1 March 2020
Such a bland retelling of an award-winning novel. The movie skimmed over the deeper themes of the book making the characters seem entirely self absorbed and unnecessarily miserable. It's impossible to like the characters or feel emotionally connected to the film, I will have forgotten the tale by week's end.

Atypical (2017–2021)

Emotionally Engaging
3 November 2019
Centred around a teenage boy on the spectrum, Atypical explores a range of characters each with their own idiosyncrasies and circumstance. With an Autistic sibling if my own, I can certainly relate to the situations within the series, or at least, understand how they got there. Atypical is a wonderful exploration of autism itself and how it can affect the people around those on the spectrum.
