Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas (1994)
You're better off watching Pokemon...
Wow, I didn't know film-making could get so bad until I saw this piece of pure garbage. First let me start by saying that the original series was great, though it was cheesy, we were able to enjoy it because of its goofiness and overall positive messages that it was sending to teenagers. And then "Wedding in Las Vegas" comes along and I hurl at the fact that I sat through this. What in the name of Elian Gonzalez influenced the filmmakers to make this?? The acting is dreadful. You could find better actors auditioning for American Idol! I don't know how the acting turned out so bad because these were the SAME people who did the television series, but their underwear must have been in a knot because this is acting at its worst. Oh, here's a nice attempt at humor: Kelly and Lisa are driving along and Kelly talks about how Zach never stops talking about her. We cut to the guys' car and Zach says "You think that Steven Segal could beat up Sylvester Stallone?" or some crap like that. HAHA!! no, that wasn't funny.
The only thing that changed my expression of hate was the Dano gag, and that only made me go "heh." So please, if you're looking for closure to the "Bell" series, DON'T see this by any means! If you want to watch a really bad movie just to laugh at other people's failures, then by all means THIS IS FOR YOU! If you're a filmmaker who has lost all hope in making movies, show this before premiering some of your films, it'll make them THAT much better.
Oh, here are some more bad things about this movie. The music, the attempts at serious drama, the attempts at clever sarcasm, and Screech. He was good in the series, but now he's in his 20s and he's still dumber than a retard on Jerry Springer. It's just annoying now. Awful, terrible, horrible, sadistic, and cruel and unusual torture. AVOID!!
Flight of the Navigator (1986)
One of the best Disney films of the 80s
I remember watching this movie when I was 2 years old and always watching from then on. I love this movie, it's really a fantastic film for people of all ages. It's the story of David Freeman, a kid who is abducted in 1978 then is returned to Earth 8 years later to 1986, but to him it has only been an hour or two. When he returns, everything has changed except him and he is now the center of a NASA/government investigation. When the spacecraft turns up, David hitches a ride on it and becomes friends with the ship's host(this hardcore robot thing with a great sense of humor). So after getting out of this NASA holding place, David tries to make it home to his future family...or will he risk it all to go back to 1978? It's funny, touching, fascinating, and has top-notch special effects...seriously you will be surprised at how good they are. So see this movie! It's one of a kind!!
