Prisoners of the Ghostland (2021)
3 stars is generous
This movie tried to be "so random/bad it's funny", an art house film, a Tarantino ripoff, an old timey Samurai flick homage, and probably some other stuff. It failed at doing all of it. It was so disjointed and unaware of what it was trying to do that it just ended up being 5 badly cut movies put into one train wreck. If I'm being honest, I couldn't actually sit through the whole thing because it was so bad. Based off of this and the Five Nights At Freddie's ripoff Nicolas Cage did, it would seem he may be paid per word of dialogue, and the less pay, the less effort. He has lines but the movie was just so boring and uninspired.
Heartstopper (2022)
Amazing
I had to pause every once in a while to fan myself. This is so true to the comic and is a great show for everyone. As a gay man, I thought coming out stories were getting a little boring but this is just so good and so cute.
Hit-Monkey (2021)
Wtf
I saw the trailer and was like, oh cool, a funny show about a monkey assassin, this should be a good laugh. Finished the season after crying about 5 times. Jesus Christ, the feels, take your 10 stars.
Infinity Train (2019)
Best animated show ever
All of my favorite shows are 9s, it's because they are amazing however I recognize that that they have their flaws. This is a 10, it has no flaws.
Steven Universe: The Movie (2019)
Amazing music
I love Steven universe and it's music, I did come into this a little skeptical because they stressed it was a musical unlike the rest of the show. I thought oh no, is this just going to be one big gimmick? Not at all. It somehow felt like a real musical but it was also all Steven Universe. It did not lose the big movie spectacle and amazing plot. I loved it
