Feud (2017)
Don't believe what you see regarding Truman
Babe Paley was devastated to find out that her trusted friend, Truman Capote, had published her deeply personal secret in a prestigious magazine. The story, titled "La Côte Basque 1965," was based on their private conversations and revealed her husband's escapades. Despite her terminal lung cancer diagnosis, Babe was resolute. She made a firm decision: she would never speak to Capote again. Even though he tried to reconcile, she stood by her choice to cast Capote out of her life. This betrayal had shattered their once-close friendship irreparably. However, Babe's unwavering decision to cut Capote out of her life proved that she was a strong woman who refused to tolerate such a betrayal from a trusted friend.
The Strangler (1964)
Ed Kemper?
This could almost be the bio of serial killer Ed Kemper.
Big fat serial killer ✅
Sadistic mother ✅
Strangled women ✅
That mustache ✅
OK, I have to finish this movie. It's creepy!
Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives. (2022)
I've heard this plot so many times.
And I always wonder how these intelligent women could be so gullible? Does intelligence take up so much room in their brains, that common sense is delegated to the big toe? Secret Agents are not Secret Agents if it's not a secret. SMH.
Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer (2021)
It's good
Gave a 7 because it told a tale of a crime I've never heard of. (True crime addict since the '70s). True crime TV usually repeats the same crime stories numerous times. I enjoyed the history lesson on Times Square most.
And Just Like That... (2021)
Sad
This is what happens when "stars" age and can't except that life moves on without them. They cling to the past and apparently have enough clout / cash to keep beating a dead horse to death.
They got it right, ONCE. Be happy.
I'm old, older than these "girls", but I prefer Emily in Paris.
Gossip (2021)
Roger Stone
When Roger Stone showed up, I thought "How truthful could this "doc" be? Besides, I live in Wisconsin (wink). At first I thought it might show Murdock's rise. That's when Stone showed up and I moved on to Dexter.
The Curse of Von Dutch (2021)
Some True Crime Shows
Can be very boring when you stretch the story out to make a mini series out of it, especially when ALL the characters are so unlikeable. Stopped watching after one episode.
Line of Duty (2012)
BREAKING BAD Good
This is my humble opinion. Not since BB, has my heart pounded with anticipation during the twists, turns, and drama. I had to take a few breaks between binging the whole series to catch my breath and step away from the ugliness in the plot. The acting is perfection. Well done!
Fargo (2014)
Would have been a 10, but
Season 4 was unwatchable and I love Chris Rock. WTH? Was all I could come up with to describe what I just watched. I tried episode 2 and felt the same. That was it, I was done.
Your Honor (2020)
Disappointed
Yes, the acting is awesome. But any True Crime fan will be laughing at the Judge's actions to cover up the crime. Like frantically cleaning out the car in front of the neighbors at night, with a flashlight! Like throwing evidence away on a bridge that most likely has cameras. Plus, that walk into the police station should come back to haunt him.
Shock Corridor (1963)
Ugh
Seldom do I rush to rate a movie like this one. It went downhill the moment of that cringe worthy striptease. The next 15 minute of dialogue and acting were just as bad, at which point I turned it off. But that strip, SMH
Love Fraud (2020)
It's too long winded
I stopped watching after the second episode. A normal crime show could have covered this story in 1 hour. I don't even feel like skipping to the end. Yep, I don't care.
Succession (2018)
If the plot was better,
I might have been ok if the cameraman had stop playing with the hiccuping zoom control. Stop watching halfway through episode 3. Wasn't worth my time.
Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story (2017)
Heroine
Immigrant/American Hero swindled by the America government. An Immigrant/American woman drugged and used by Hollywood in America. She deserved so much more then we gave her. Eye opening documentary
