I was just about to say this was the best yakuza movie.... right until those last 25 minutes. Wtf happened, they overdid it way too much, and so many inconsistencies... can't believe they ruined it this bad just like that. Giving it a 6 because 80% of the movie was great.

Nothing special. Plot not great. Why did he leave his home town? Also, message is "ruin it for everyone to be with the girl you love"? It's fine to have a silly message, but I was just not impressed/convinced by this story. Kind of easy "easy to watch", but does not keep you at the edge of your seat of anything.
Image is absolutely great though, the level of detail is absurdly high.
