Mortal Kombat (2021)
Pretty Damn Good!
Not bad. Kinda shorter than I expected this to be. I like the lineage undertone and how everyone's backstory is respected in this movie. The only thing I felt lacking was the pacing and story. It's more grounded in the source material but, for every character they had could've had more time to introduce who they are. I do like that it's kind of a prequel to hopefully what is a more grounded world of the Mortal Kombat source material.
The Flash: I Know Who You Are (2017)
Like I told you from the Beginning....
Wow, great episode was all worth it at the end. I'm sure everyone saw it coming but man, what a reveal, the music, the intensity of present Barry speaking to his future self was a great moment. I loved when Future Flash was the villain. As to his motivations will be revealed in the later episode but Grant pulling double duty was perfect.
Supernatural: Carry On (2020)
Better than expected
I think what people are forgetting is now that Chuck/God is no longer God, the "plot armor/protection" is gone. Therefore I knew this was gonna be at least one their fates if not both. I was expecting both to die in some macabre way and was not disappointed. This made me cry(damn ninja onions). So for those of you saying that you're upset or this episode doesn't exist, need to stop and think about the 4th wall this last season and the finale of last. It was perfect!
Arrow: You Have Saved This City (2019)
Near the End
I feel like I just got punched in the gut with this episode. I loved this show and have watched it from the very beginning. I have watched every season up to now and I have to say, despite its ups and downs, this will forever be one of the best shows on tv IMO. I will miss it after season 8...
Death Wish (2018)
Way better than I expected!
Going into the theater, my hopes were high for this movie. I am pleased to report that this reboot exceeded my expectations ten fold. It's deep, personal, downright violent. But it does get its point accrossed too. Great moment in this movie we're Bruce's character exacting his revenge even though he has no idea how to. Makes you feel like your his character. Charles Bronson would be proud of Bruce Willis filling his shoes
Arrow: My Name Is Oliver Queen (2015)
Really Dark Season for The Arrow
What an episode this was! It wasn't as intense as the first two season finale's especially last season where it was really personal. But Oliver Queen aka the Arrow taking on a very formidable opponent in Ra's Al Ghul. It was a nice touch using the sword from the mountain that nearly killed himself and the way Oliver bested Ra's by grabbing the sword and stabbing Ra's through the chest. What I'm really excited about is the villain for next season of Arrow. A Teen Titan enemy aka Damien Dhark will be interesting to see how he reacts to Oliver killing his mentor. And FINALLY, we got to see Oliver and Felicity happy together although Oliver was technically married to Nyssa. With Malcolm Merlin as the new Ra's how will he maintain his relationship with Thea and I certainly hope that this is not the last time we see Roy Harper aka Arsenal aka THE RED ARROW!!!!
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Another Sequel Lead to Some Disappointment
I recently watched Avengers AOU and I left the theater kind of disappointed. Let me explain why... 1. The villain Ultron. After hearing from all my comic book friends and brother about who Ultron was and how menacing and very controversial the character is, was a huge let down. 2. The mood felt like the first Avengers movie, where they have a bad op and everyone feels it. From Steve Rogers vision of what life would've been like if he wasn't frozen in the ice, to Black Widow's vision into her past. However I'm pleased that this movie had more comedy and I can appreciate that improvement from the last one. So overall the movie was an 8 out of 10 for the action and more comedy added into the 2 hours.
Batman Begins (2005)
well made movie
Even after 10 years this movie came out, I still watch it to this day! Batman Begins explores the origins of Bruce Wayne aka Batman. From the death of his parents right in front of him, to him taking down his mentor Ra's Al Ghul. This movie makes you feel almost as if you're in the Dark Knights shoes. I was highly anticipating a great remake for the Batman Franchise and Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale did not disappoint. With the other characters that made this movie, Michael Caine as Alfred. Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul was perfect! Cillian Murphy was amazing as Batman's first true challenge in saving Gotham City. Buy this movie its highly recommended.
