Real Time with Bill Maher: Elon Musk/Michael C. Moynihan/Konstantin Kisin (2023)
Awful Episode w. Elon Musk
Bill spends more than three times the average amount (roughly twenty five minutes vs. Seven) talking and making stupid and pathetic jokes with Elon Musk.
There was virtually no time to have a discussion with the panel of guests about how McCarthy passed a his spending bill that would cut Social Security and Medicare for the disabled and elderly retired Americans.
There was No Time for a mid-panel joke segment along with so many other things.
New Rules were boring and there wasn't much to laugh at while Bill was presenting them.
The show would have been way more successful & enjoyable if Elon Musk wasn't the guest and being that he was, Bill should have asked questions about the overwhelming amount of hatred expressed on Twitter & that research has shown Twitter has caused an increase of racism in the US.
School of Rock (2003)
Amazingly Outstanding Music-themed Comedy!
This is an Amazingly Outstanding Music-themed Comedy!
Forget about "Perfect Pitch 2" (2015), "School of Rock" (2003) is truly the best music-themed comedy movie EVER!
Every time I watch this it's like the first time over & over again!!! Great humor that doesn't expire and it's amazing to see the students playing the music & performing vocals! The auditions for the students in the band wasn't based off of acting it was their ability & love for playing the instruments.
This is like a 2003 revision of the drama "Dead Poets Society" (1989) set in 1959, staring Robin Williams who's the new English teacher; fortunately there's only drama here, not music & comedy.
In both movies the students are being taught by their teachers John Keating (Robin Williams) and Dewey Finn (Jack Black) in their elite prep & top-rated private schools to put aside the standards of living defined by their parents and taught to them at their schools. By learning to open their minds, they see things from a different perspective & discovered their love for things such as their ability to create music.
ICYMI: Family Guy (S:17 E:9) Pawtucket Pete makes major references to both movies.
R. I. P. Kevin Clark (Freddy "Spazzy McGee" Jones), who played the drums, died in 2021 after being hit by a car while bicycling, he was 32.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Think this shows how Business controls US!
Great movie & funny. A bit long.
But it shows the political divide in the US, and shows that:
This nation is:
Ran for the Corporate, by the Corporate
Not:
For the People, by the People.
tick, tick...BOOM! (2021)
Too bad ratings are 10-scale... I'd say 525,600!
Beautiful musical about Larson and displaying how much passion he had to achieve his dream!
Unfortunately Larson didn't get to see the Broadway premiere of his great musical Rent, but he knew how he could open the hearts & minds of people. Help others realize that not everyone has that same chance to succeed, like the wealthy, and how difficult it can be for some to suffer in many different means.
If you truly love Larson's work, you'll always remember that 525,600 minutes measure a year.
(hope you don't mind if I got "Seasons of Love" playing in your head ;) )
Genera+ion (2021)
Hooray!!! Cancelled!
Plain & Simple - Hooray!!! Cancelled!
OMG its really not a good show for our community.
B Positive (2020)
Offensive to Disabled & Seniors
Making fun of Seniors using their necessary Assistive Transportation is Disgusting.
But this show is Very Offensive to those who suffer from ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) who require Kidney Transplant & Life-Sustaining Dialysis Treatment (until transplant); Episode 2 is titled "Die Alysis."
I was surprised when I didn't get the call back. Because I am someone who perfectly fit the role in real life (could have made B+ a reality show). In order for me to have lived until Kidney Transplant, there were so many life-threatening factors, e.g. fluid consumption, diet, blood pressure, dialysis, and more.
I saw fellow sufferers of ESRD, while at Dialysis, be rushed to the ER, saw someone Die in front of me, lost consciousness because of blood pressure fluctuations, fall onto the floor (have a concussion, then died), unconsciously doing things (didn't allow blood clots to form after treatment, causing blood to pour out of their body) and more.
When your blood type is B+, you have the rarest form of blood. And your chances of achieving transplant takes an extended amount of time.
"B POSITIVE" rubs in the face, laughing, at B+ and all ESRD patients, when Drew can easily find a living donor at a wedding (from an old friend).
Those on Dialysis, face death everyday because of several factors; including Dialysis. In the first year, there's a 25% chance of death, by sixth year there's a 60% chance.
So, lets also make fun of Die Alysis, I mean Dialysis, which is what keeps ESRD sufferers a chance to live.
And I hope Drew realizes after transplant, he will always have Chronic Kidney Disease, and have permanent restrictions on his life (e.g. exercises, lifting more than 45lbs, dietary, No Alcohol, and more).

The Social Dilemma (2020)
The Social Dilemma & Others Tell the Truth!
The Social Dilemma tells the truth about propaganda.
Listen to a famous British actor & comedian Sacha Baron Cohen deliver a Keynote address at the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) in November of 2019. He states basically the same as those in The Social Dilemma. However, because he works in Entertainment, in movies & on TV, there are restrictions on what he can say & do; while Facebook can do whatever they want (being on the Internet).
Take a look at his Keynote on the ADL's website.
Makes a nice true statement of how Facebook could've benefited (financially) by spreading the propaganda of a person from the 1930s (if the Internet & Social Media existed).
Joker (2019)
Great Movie & Hidden Message
The hidden message in the film illuminates & illustrates what's occurring not just in Gotham but what is really occurring in the US.
The Wealthy have control over virtually everything, including you. They are the ones who make the decisions for you. They are allowed to do what they want, where, when, and to whom; why, is just to prove they can do anything, such as make you suffer while they succeed. They also like watch you fail at taking appropriate action.*
Watch how Arthur struggles -financially is one of these struggles, that are becoming worse as the Wealthy controlled state of Gotham, shuts down his means of financial support.
Citizens of Gotham stand up to support him, because they've found a reason & leader to help them take back control of their property. You can see that huge celebration & first true smile that is expressed by Arthur ("Joker"), when he gets celebrated for revealing himself to all, as the killer of those businessmen.
Notice that at the end, after being arrested, he's riding in a police car, where the license plate states, "Industry First."
Again, this is because in Gotham (like the US), Industry has control over the people.
Brief real world example. Prior to the 1980s, we were ran, "for the people, by the people." But because of intentional pull back on industrial regulations, we got torn apart. Back then (40+ years ago), the CEO of the business would typically live "in" or "around" the same place as the majority of their local workers, where their wealth would be taxed and contribute to expansion of the local government to provide better public services. Back then they'd also, only make around 20 times more than their average worker. So, for every single dollar ($1) you'd make, they'd make twenty ($20).
Today those executives don't just make over 300 times more than they used to. You never made a dollar more. Now, they have control over you & the government.
A significant amount of things have changed, allowing companies to become entities that are illegal. And now we are ran by Oligarchs.
*Look at how, in the US, with COVID-19, the average American (former middle class, elderly, disabled, poverty, etc.) is financially suffering tremendously, while those Wealthy are perfectly & personally fine; no financial struggles, no need to be out in public, nothing to worry about when the economy crashes. And accessibility to tests. Making it fine for some to not wear a mask where, by law, everyone is required to.
Geography Club (2013)
Reminded me of a high school boyfriend
I wonder why Pride Media had published this as one of their top, back in the day films; films to remind us about of high school (e.g. Edge of Seventeen).
It's because before this whole Politically Correct world that we live in today, things like popularity and need for affiliation destroyed relationships & love. It also wasn't acceptable to have a Gay Straight Alliance in school (and suburban towns).
Trading Places (1983)
GREAT COMEDY! Time to remake in today's world.
I wish that Trading Places would be remade!
Lets show & remind people how this movie expresses (through comedy) the Greed of the Corporate & Wall Street; then when one has to trade places with a homeless man (losing ALL access to everything they once had), they learn what it really means to be a truly suffering, homeless, American.
It's time to teach Americans again, through entertainment, how the vast majority of the wealthy don't truly care about those people who suffer; mainly because they don't have the finances needed to survive in 2020.
Shameless (2011)
Looks like Showtime's longest running series...
Is coming to an end.
(wish I could have left it there, but It's too short)
One key thing... when a television show, insults you or someone you love or know, who suffers from a life changing, shortening, and also threatening disease. The show's gone too far.
One of these diseases is called ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease)*. Once someone you know or love develops it, their lifespan can be cut in half.
When Mikey suddenly had ESRD, virtually everything portrayed by the show was an insult to those who suffer, their families, friends, and medical specialists.
*Plain & Simple, when you have ESRD, virtually Everything that was once healthy for you to Eat & Drink is now harmful (or damaging) to your health. The one and only thing that will always remain safe is Water.

The Misery Index (2019)
Outrageously Boring!
I'm a HUGE fan of Impractical Jokers!
However, this game show is too plain & boring, its not going to make it to season 2.
Fight Club (1999)
BEST MOVIE EVER!!!
I saw this when it was originally released, and every viewing since, It's left me with that same original impression...
Fight Club is the Best, Most Unique, and Impressive film that I've ever seen!
Once Fight Club starts to play, you DND me for the next 140 minutes!
Ad Astra (2019)
Too Slow...
I don't know which is slower , "Ad Astra"or "Once Upon a Time..."
Falling or Fallen asleep in both.

Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Great QT Film!
This is another Great QT Film! It can be Boring to some, but you need to basically understand things from the correct perspective.
Rick (Leonardo DiCaprio) & Cliff (Brad Pitt) are like identical twin brothers, who work in filmmaking. Rick's the real celebrity (now failing because of new genres) & Cliff is Rick's stunt double. Cliff continues to look like Rick, so he can be blindly seen on screen doing & during the fights.
Being like identical twins, in the looks, they aren't in their lives. They both have very different personalities, Rick's the more serious & struggling one; while Cliff open for fun & adventure. Cliff's willing to take that chance of facing trouble, and Rick won't.
Throughout the movie one needs to see both Leo & Brad as if they are almost identical twins. And also see how one's action filled life, can possibly lead to changing the other's.
Adam Ruins Everything (2015)
Adam does factually ruin things
Adam does ruin everything, with factual data and online access to the sources of information.
When ruining Shopping, Adam was explaining & exposing the truth about "outlet stores" and how the company which owns it, stocks the stores with "outdated fashion." The available material in "outlet stores" were never really marketed fashions that the company put into their regular, more expensive market.
Also when discussing how supplements (not approved by the FDA) are found added to things sold in vitamin shops, is 100% true. Just like prescriptions, upon the expiration of patent protection, other drug companies add unknown supplements to the generic drugs. The addition of supplements, has caused family members of mine to be rushed into the ER, because of life threatening reactions to generic drugs. And these generic drugs with supplements, have also made medical conditions intractable (uncontrollable), causing 100% permanent disability.
Supplements has caused a family member of mine to go from making over $175,000/year to less than $17,000/year.
If you don't believe what he's saying on the show, with Ivy League University Professors, take a look at the show's list of resources & look up the facts for yourself.
Real Time with Bill Maher (2003)
Funny & Great Political Show!
Bill Maher has had such huge success with both of his political shows (PI & Real Time)! Bill's HBO show, "Real Time with Bill Maher" has hit the 500th show on 21 Jun 2019!
The popularity of the show, guest & panelists, additional guest and all the humor is great!
There are democrats, independents, & republicans, who will be on this show for guest interview or in the panel.
Bill may be liberal, but there's a lot he can hate about the DNC, and of course the GOP.
Child's Play (2019)
A too predictable horror (with comedy).
I'm a huge fan of horror movies. This 2019 version of Child's Play, was way to predictable. This film's genre is a Horror movie; not comedy, horror film. There was a bunch of adult humor in the film (so much for it being specifically a horror genre film). How this *New* Chucky doll came into existence is ridiculous.
