Though, if you like some, you like some...
Objectively, there are great movies and terrible movies, but at the end of the day, it's all about if you enjoyed it, which means... at the end of the day, when it's judgement day, it is a complete subjective thing, what we like or don't like. And that's how i try to rate it. A bit of expertise with a drop of personal taste!
I enjoy almost every genre, but my main b*tch is Horror/Thriller/Psychothriller.
If i can help you to find a movie for the night or help you to decide which movie(s) to watch, i am more than happy.
Check out my lists and decide for yourself if my opinion is valid or total shit.

Livio

Heilstätten (2018)
This is a warning
This movie is actually terrible. The acting is horrible. The story is mostly predictable and boring. The make-up is very cheap and the camera movement overall nothing that makes sense. From being tilted sideways, to very shaky all the time.
BUT I wanna focus on the positive. There where a few moments I liked the setting. They had some moody shots at the beginning, when entering the abandoned hospital, where I actually would say, they could have had some great stills, if they focused more on that. The color-grading was actually giving the vibe of a YouTube-video, though I was hoping that the picture in total would be more like a YT-video. They gave the feeling of a YouTube-video and at the same time i thought, even. YouTuber would film it better.
There were 2 moments where I was scared for at least one second, something I didn't expect after being halfway through the movie.
The 2/10-rating is reliable imo, because they had a creative idea for merging a new version of "Blair Witch project" with the YouTube-style. And the plot twist at the end gave soooome excitement.
Still very trashy movie, which seems like made as an attempt to make a solid movie.
I learned a lot, but I wouldn't watch, nor analyze this movie a 2nd time.
28 Days Later (2002)
One of the best in the Zombie-genre!
Over the last couple years, I have watched over 20 zombie-movies.
This one is one of the few, i regularly come back to, to have a frightening, yet entertaining time. This movie a piece of art, without having an tremendous budget.
The mise-en-image is nothing eccentric, but still has it's moment of good camera movement and pictures. The make-up for the zombie-actors and actresses is quite frightening and in combination with a very good sound, it creates a lot of stressful moments (something i expect in a zombie-movie, where zombies aren't resurrected bodies, but people who have died because of a virus).
The last but not least, that i want to mention, is that Cillian Murphy is one hell of an actor. Just amazing! And he fulfills his role as Jim just perfect. The movie has a good building tension and gives something like character development (as much as you can have in a movie of 113 minutes, where it's more about the momentum, than the personal issues and development).
Why I didn't rate it a 10/10?
Despite all the lonely and sad moments, in combination with the feeling of helplessness in the story, which makes this movie so "realistic", at the end, it turns a bit more into an action-movie, than before. The twist from being a calm, yet horrifying movie with some stressful moments to a movie where just action and noise is taking overhand, was just slightly to much for me...
Still, I love this movie and so far I haven't seen a zombie movie that could be a match for "28 Days Later".
