Lost: Follow the Leader (2009)
Just the right bit of everything ( Spoilers )
Just finished watching this episode, and it has the right bit of everything. Fast-paced excitement, action, romance, it also has it touching and crossroads moments. This episode serves as a great opening for the finale, we already know what to look for; the hydrogen bomb detonation by Jack with the help of Richards, the face-up between Jacob and Locke, and the sub with the love triangle between Kate, Sawyer and Juliette. If there is one thing I wanted in this episode, it would be to show the new survivors and what they plan for the island.
The shifting for Jack to become a man of destiny seemed very convincing. John Locke presuming his powers with confidence might have needed some ground work. He has this incredible confidence of what he is doing, while Ben moved to the back seat. There is a lot of dynamic of this season, things changing rapidly. While slow at first, now it is catching up; this episode has a lot going on in one hour and it makes you think about the finality till Wednesday!
Mowaten we mokhber we haramy (2001)
Only One Rule:- THERE ARE NO RULES
Really i was hesitated to find an appropriate title for that movie, I liked that title, as i think it really shows the heart of the film, no rules, or as Dawod said ( FERAN MEATATA), or CATTY MICE, where everything is possible, the contradicted parties can be partners and even best friends, as in a cosmopolitan space..
The scenario is remarkable, the three characters, each has its significant rules, i start with what i liked best, AL MOWATIN, THE DETECTIVE, Salah Abd Allah, here he is representing the authority in its worst figures, covered with all possible sins, but in the end it worked its way through high levels, although it's covered with corruption and ignorance, and i really like Salah Abd Allah, i think that was the rule of his life, i didn't think that he was acting, i really thought that he was a detective.
MOWATIN, CITIZEN, Khaled Nagaty, the character is well-figured and composed, representing a lost person looking for something he doesn't know, the REWAYA - STORY, seemed to be represent what he was looking for, or maybe it represented his life itself, any Khaled Nagaty was remarkable, and i really think he can be a real star.
HARAMY, THIEF, Shaaban ,, when i heard that Dawod is going to get Shaaban as an actor in his new movie, really i asked myself why, Does Dawod wish to reach the audience of shaaban, Does Dawod finally want to present what people like to have?, actually i was disappointed, i think that shaaban can make large box office number for Dawod, but in the same time, he would take Dawod down with him,,any way, after i watched the film, i was still mad because shaaban, till i began to think about it rationally, Dawod wanted to give a model of a thief, of the common people, and arty model, and then thought that he could be right,, and maybe he was.. The one thing i am sure about, that Dawod gave much space for Shaaban, and his songs,, at most three songs would be more than enough, and the film would be more beautiful if it had only less songs for Shaaban,
Those were the main Characters in the film, but still Hend Sabry,, HAYAT, she is a very upstanding actress, i think that this rule is even better than hers in Samt El Kesour.
Still i havn't Introduced the main character,, it's AL REWAYA, or the STORY, i think that is the main character in the movie, it represents the search for existence, ot it's the dream of perfection, that the citizen has always searched for, and when he found he lost it again,, i wished if Dawod had given the STORY more significance in the movie, as it's the heart of the film.. And Finally, this film is really one of the most important films in EGYPT in the last 30 years, and it is an addition to Dawod Abdel Sayed as a leader Director, but it's not as expressing , beautiful, remarkable as most of his movies, specially his latest, Land of Fear.
Ardh el-Khof (1999)
A tour into the underworld through the a Police-Officer/ Criminal
Well, if you haven't seen this movie, don't hesitate, do it at once,, this is one of the most important Egyptian movies i have ever seen, it could've been the best but for the limited effects, which could've been a a big drawback if it was not for the brilliant director ( Dawood Abdel Sayed).
Ahmed Zaky still proves himself to be the most talented actor in Egypt, you can easily see it from the way he looks, he speaks or the way he moves. the script is perfect is shows the real changes in the main character "Yehia", and the world around it,, My favorite scene , is when Ahmed Zaky (Yehia) Discovers that all the time he was sending his information to a mail man, who collects them in his office, doing nothing with them, you can feel all the bitterness and anger through the eyes of Ahmed Zaky, you would even feel it. Again don't hesitate to watch and certainly enjoy that movie
