Mother-in-Law Thriller
11 January 2024
Great story and adapted to screen with actors that use their craft to bring what could have been a dull story to life. The Susie Spacek look-alike actor does a phenomenal job depicting a mean, disabled mother-in-law that would love to see their son's cherished wife disappear. Of course the new wife would have a daughter + boyfriend who become Dick Tracy sleuths and make efforts to save the wife from her fate. Of course, veteran actress, Jackee Harry plays her traditional role and line, What happened here? Loved the house with the outdoor spiral staircase and surprise ending!!!! Great writers providing fans with good entertainment while drinking wine and popcorn (coffee and Danish).

Lies Between Friends (2022 TV Movie)

Well-written Plot
10 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Well-written plot that fails to insult the intelligence of fans. Realistic story with well-developed characters with careers. This movie leaves you wanting a sequel or even a series. The former best friends, one happily married with the customary two kids and the unemployed unhappy empty nester-alcoholic father with the vengeful college daughter result in one of the best movies this year, although we are only in the month of January. Run, don't walk, get the remote, a bowl of popcorn and a glass wine (or a cup of coffee and a Danish) and enjoy as the plot thickens and the subject of school bullying is addressed, somewhat, perhaps a different spin to end bullying may have been better but keeping in with the theme, plot to kill, it was perfect?

Forever Us (2023)

Forever a good movie!
25 December 2023
Not another B movie, well-written, professional cinematography, actress Blac Chyna honing her craft, well-casted, excellent story, athletes, entrepreneurs, and the plight or fate of hard working men who also happen to look good. Great holiday grown folks movie, minus the kids, along with well-crafted directing. The only criticism, if any, is the bloodly first two minutes that appear fake, fraudulent, and ready for French fries. Can't wait until our director-screenwriter does a Forever Us 2 focusing on intergenerational trauma. Or contact one of his fans for a draft storyline that is sure to be a winner and possibly lead to a trilogy.

Killer Contractor (2019 TV Movie)

Enjoyable Lifetime movie, with a twist!
10 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The Lifetime actors were typical until the plot twist. The writer did a great job in entertaining Lifetime viewers with a twist that was unexpected and the initial villain did a great job in the role. There were many characters, mother and daughter, mother and son, best friend, and an actual hired killer. Well thought out script, plot, and background. So what, if no one thinks to escape using a window, and there just happens to be golf clubs, kept in a second floor bedroom of a deceased 72 year old grandfather. Hey, it's Lifetime, low budget entertainment but the golf clubs were nice! Will there be a contractor killer II, only Lifetime knows! Would love to write a future script, it's my favorite genre, simply Lifetime!

Nice Change for Lifetime!
17 June 2023
Entertaining movie, good acting, plot twist and cinematography. All the haters are not regular Lifetime viewers since most Lifetime movies are predictable but that's part of the fun. Over the years, many of the new writers have been innovative and have written real life scenarios that are relatable. As a long time viewer, Lifetime continues to keep their audience entertained amidst all of suspense, mystery and customary plot lines. Actually, kudos to Lifetime for staying current and for risking a viewership that may not want to see change or a BIPOC cast. This is my fifth time watching a young successful attorney stalked by a deranged obsessive imposter.
