The Event (2003)
I would of like see this in more movie theatres
When I went to see The Event. I cried. I as a parent realized that this story could be my child my friend or someone close to me. I really wish that they had advertising money to advertise this movie properly. The cast was amazing. The movie kept you entertained the whole time. I would really recommend watching it. I bought the DVD in Block Buster and watched it for a second time and learned things I didn't catch the first time. I am a harsh critic on movies. I would say the footage was a little choppy but on the whole the story was great and bring your tissues to the screen when you watch it. Olympia played a wonderful Jewish Mother with love and compassion. The Movie was suspenseful and it made you think of many different ways the whole thing occurred.
Eddie Monroe (2006)
My take on Eddie Monroe
I am a Talent Manager. I have been for 15 years now. I have discovered some wonderful talent. They have been in Movies, Commericals, Braodway and Television. In my opinion Eddie Monroe was cast wonderful. I love seeing the ability of real people. Not just a name. The Actors in this movie were very natural and believable. I was very entertained by this film. I love a movie with a few twists. I also enjoy when at the end of the movie the puzzle is solved. I still would like to know what happened to the large sum of the money.(When you see the flick you will understand what I am saying.) The Mobsters all look real ???? I would like to see this film on the Big Screen. The footage was shot really well. The scenery of New York was the New York that I know. Have a Happy 2006 and may this movie make it to the awards.
