A tv-show you'll remember of... positively !
18 February 2023
First of all: What's this low rating guys ? I watch a lot of tv show, and this one is a good one.

First reason: So many tv shows are just the same now, often good, but not memorable. Here, it's different. The atmosphere, the main character, the retro futuristic ideas, the main plot, all these elements make it good and memorable.

About the plot now. When I read some comments, i have the impression that they expected a drama/thriller about the technology and travel to space. If you want that, just go and watch For all mankind. It was never the purpose of Hello Tomorrow. Hello tomorrow is many things but that.

It's first of all a story of one (main) character and his team in an amazing world - every episode is full of so many good ideas that make it both retro futuristic and fun to discover. It's about our society, the capitalism, those sell representatives selling things they don't know about, vs the mastermind behind tricking both them and the clients.

But mainly, it's a clever story. The east way would have been to show this (fake) smiling guy as a bad guy ripping of these poor people. Here, through some sentences or attitudes, you can see the good in him and the purpose - why it's not so bad after all.

Long story short, just go!

Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Season 1, Episode 10
9/10
Let's be honest: this is the only possible good ending
11 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Oh my god, I can't describe how much I loved Dexter when I was younger. I can't neither describe how much I was disappointed at the last episode of the last season back then.

That, was a total fail that totally impacted the whole series.

So when Dexter new blood arrived, I was hopeful, to finally get the ending this series deserves, but also fearless: so much years later, is it a good idea? We know how much revivals are not a good idea.

The result ?? The first option. If you don't believe me because you are disappointed after having watched this last episode: have a look on the rating of all the other episodes. What a perfect show it was.

About this specific episode now: I saw many people disappointed, but the truth is: this season is there to finally bring an end to Dexter, not to launch again 10 new seasons.

This episode was a good one, with a lot of tension, stress, Dexter having to finally face his crimes, and several potential outcomes while watching (going to jail - less likely, leaving with Harrison, trying to leave but finally get arrested, decide to once again leave with his son, or, being killed...).

Even if I get why people wanted him to survive, this ending was the only one that allows everyone to close a chapter and avoid doing again and again the same story with eventually, just as so many other series, one too many seasons.

And anyway, Harrison is not leaving without any reason. We all loved Dexter, and we can be sure that Harrison will be as interesting to follow as him, or almost.

Je Suis Karl (2021)

A movie that will make you think
11 October 2021
Let's first start with the most important thing: don't look at the rating.

First, look at the comment and you'll understand why the general rating is so low: people obviously didn't get it and decided to put a 1/10 just because of it.

The truth is: this movie is a very good one.

People say the acting is bad: I hope those saying that are actually producers, actors, writers because: how can they judge ? Especially knowing the actors have both very good references, as well as the creator.

People say the story is bad: well if you don't get the details and the story behind, maybe.

But if you do, what a movie!

The true face of the far-right, far from what you would initially think. How someone can come from an extreme and reach the total opposite due to a single event.

The kind of movie that will make you think about the society, politics, and maybe even yourself.
