The Family Man (2000)
Love this!!!
I watched this today after seeing it years ago on dvd and really loved it as I was dating my first boyfriend back in 1987( we met in 1985) and he went into the military. Despite writing letters, and occasional phone calls back then we grew apart, and well this movie was a look back at what might of been. Touching, pulls at your heartstrings, just a fantastic movie and beautifully acted. I was really touched by this movie it is a must see for anyone who had a might of been even if it was just a dream in the mid 80s like I did. Nicholas Cage is brilliant in this one...... I will watch this again.
Parenthood (2010)
My favorite Drama!!!
I got into Parenthood last summer from getting a dvd. Watched an episode found it boring, so I put it away. I got it back out later, gave it a chance and loved it. So much I have seasons 1-6 on dvd. Brilliant cast, brilliant show to watch and now its my go to drama to watch over and over. Im watching season 5 again and I love it especially Craig T Nelson as Zeek and I get sad in season 6 when he passes away, yet I can relate as my dad has passed away. Great stories and drama, but I wish Sarah would of ended up with Mark( Jason Ritter) instead of marrying Hank ( Ray Ramono) in season 6. Not a fan there.
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)
Loved it!!!
I was a shy, quiet, sensitive child and in 1968 a two year old toddler. I was always a dreamer and this brought me back to the Land of Make Believe and Daniel the Tiger and how I loved watching Mr Rodgers Neighborhood. Tom Hanks and this movie is Brilliant and this is a must see movie for those of us who remember and loved Fred Rodgers as children and Public Television. I cant get enough of watching this movie. It is warm, touching, and brings back memories. This film is brilliant as it good to see Mr Mc Feeley and Officer Clemmons as well. I loved this trip down memory lane of being a child. A++
American Dreams (2002)
Great Show soo timeless!!!
I love this show. I watched it in 2002- 2005 on NBC so years later I found it on dvd in the thift store I worked. It is truly a gem. I wasnt born til 1966 so this show captures the brilliance of the 1960s when my parents were teenagers. I love it. The music, the stories, and the actors are top notch!!!!! This is truly a favorite I watch over and over... I only wish it had a better last episode and I wish we could of seen what happened to the cast down the road and if Meg came back from being on the road. I didnt care for the Chris character I wish Meg would of remained friends with Sam he was a sweetheart. Love this show.
