Atlanta: Snipe Hunt (2022)
The BEST Episode of Atlanta
This episode is a Masterclass from Donald Glover. He has built these characters to a pivotal point in their relationship and their family where they need to choose what's next. Glover and Zazie Beetz carry the episode with their acting performances. They gave wholeheartedly performances and it was so wholesome to see the love they have for each other. This episode also shows a snapshot of what it means to be a family and what it means to love those around you. It was truly special and is one that deserves many rewatches. Also how the episode was shot, beautiful cinematography and the square camera size gave the episode real true feeling about it. 10/10 and an elite episode of Television from the genius that is Donald Glover.
The Morning Show: Confirmations (2021)
The biggest most emotion hour long ride of television in a long time
This episode is on par with S1 EP10. It was frantic, it was heartbreaking, it was thought provoking. You couldn't look away for the whole hour and it just kept hitting you with the big blows. The writing was spot on and the acting was phenomenal. Can't wait for these next two episodes.
The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards (2021)
We're back
What a show it was. It was great to see all the people back together again in the same room celebrating TV. The opening number was amazing. The best Emmys opening ever and it was so enjoyable for everyone there and watching. Not all the skits went well but the 'No Emmys wins help group' skit was very funny. Winners were deserving and memorable moments like Rita Wilson rapping. A worthy celebration of TV which got many people through Covid with the entertainment they provided. Credit to Cedric the Entertainer and all presenters, producers all creators of the show.
CODA (2021)
A Beautiful Film
CODA is a film full of heart and love. The movie takes us on a journey with loveable characters and high felt emotions. This movie is so real and it makes you feel how all movies should. Laughter, tears, joy, pain. Led by Emilia Jones who kills it and is definitely in Oscars contention. CODA is a brilliant watch and will make youre day a little bit better.
The Tomorrow War (2021)
Watch on the biggest screen possible
The Tomorrow War is an outstanding action packed movie with heart. This movie is not playing around, it's no streaming rubbish. This is big action cinema, the movie experience. You must watch it on the biggest and loudest screen possible. Chris Pratt is incredible and the whole cast is great to put the movie together. Great storyline with action and loveable characters. Watch it with no distractions and you will not be disappointed.
A Parks and Recreation Special (2020)
A treat for Parks and Recreation fans
What a reunion. It was great to see this amazing cast come back together once again and to see these characters as well. It was everything Parks and Rec fans love. The ending capped off an incredible episode. The performance of 5000 candles in the wind reminded me how much I loved this show.
