Don't Go in the Woods (1981)
CHAOTIC!
This film was one of the strangest slasher films I have ever seen. First off it had no story structure at all, second, the script was terribly written, and thirdly the photography and music are so dreadful- one wonders how this scrambled pic ever got released in the first place. Most people would be bored by this movie-I was amazed. Amazed at how amateur this film really was. The cheapness however, almost adds to the film making it look more like a snuff flick than a home-grown horror tale. The fact that no one in this film ever made another motion picture makes me wonder if these people were all murdered while making it.
Leviatán (1984)
A rock singer returns to his home town to shoot a music video, and winds up being chased by killer dogs and a werewolf creature.
Monster Dog was Atmospheric, creepy, and contained some good claustrophobic settings. The music score was also scary, and the pace was excellent. Never boring, and fun to watch. Check it out on a rainy day.
Manhattan Baby (1982)
An archaeologist is blinded by a sacred jewel that his daughter is using for ESP.
Manhattan baby was a strange movie directed by the (in)famous Italian director Lucio Fulci. It was very hard to follow, but it was so visually scrumptious that you didn't care abot the plot flaws. A must for fans of Lucio Fulci or Dario Argento.
