Fantastic mini series with gorgeous animation style and visuals. The choice of using the original audio from the movies was excellent and definitely adds to the experience. There's guaranteed to be something that all Star Wars fans enjoy in here as the series covers the main events of all trilogies. My only complaint is that on some occasions they could have made the mini episodes longer to incorporate a bit more material but other than that it's very enjoyable.
Some of these shorts are excellent and also show the Empire as they should be. Vader is very cool and strong in this - sadly, these have been forgotten and the new #metoo era Star Wars is all Disney care about.
Nice web-series with beautiful art style. It's mostly an animated tribute clip-show but there's also a few short adventures of other characters (like porgs).I'm kinda bummed that the "I am your father" scene didn't make it to the Empire Strikes Back tribute, and sometimes the movement of the animation becomes a little robotic, but, overall, good show. Oh, and did I mention you can finish the ENTIRE series in around one hour?
When these were first rolling out I was skeptical. After watching a couple I love the animation style of these. The problem is that they don't really have a target audience. The narration is okay but gets tiresome after a while, without understanding the whole pictures, they seem disjointed. What would be greater is if more time was taken and they animated sections of the movies so they had full stories instead of brief clips. I understand the idea of creating introduction to main characters, but why? Tell the stories in this animation and you would have gold. I've enjoyed all of them so far but they feel more like short teasers for something bigger coming and have about the same appear for re-watch as a trailer (that is you may watch it a couple times and then move on. Potential, but need something bigger/longer.
I never could stand the computer generated SW series because i grew up in an era when Disney animation (with the hair of the characters moving in the wind) and the Japanese anime where very apreciated and nobody liked the computer generated animation like the SW tv cartoons or that new ( from late ninetees or the early 2000's, i think) Punk Spiderman tv series and i hated that nobody respected the characters proportions in animation (Vader was always stretched, even if David Prowse was so huge because he was a strong bodybuilder, tall, with huge shoulders) and it never felt like SW for me, but this is something i always wanted to see from the start because it feels like something from SW universe. For an OT fan like me THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SEE IN A STAR WARS ANIMATED TV SHOW.
