Four families in a Heartland town are tested when a massive storm hits, giving them just 13 minutes to get to shelter before the largest tornado on record ravages the town, leaving them searching for their loved ones and fighting for their lives. In the wake of total devastation, everyone must overcome their differences and find strength in themselves - and in each other - in order to survive.

      Danielle Rogers who plays the Paramedic in the aftermath of the Tornado is actually a former Paramedic, turned actor who resides in Norman, OK with her husband a retired Captain of the Norman Fire Dept. Both responded to numerous tornadoes over the years before retiring.

      When you see Kim's cameraman setting her up with the mic on her blouse, for the live shot, he attaches it to her blouse well above the button that is closed. Then during the shot the blouse magically closes one button up from where it was. Then mic moves down her blouse.

    A Disaster Disaster film.

    Do not waste your time, there are plenty of good disaster films out there.

    I was not invested in one single character in this film. So whether they lived or died did not bother me in the slightest.

    This film is just weak in plot, full of political agenda, and the acting is mediocre to say the least.

    I am a fan of Thora Birch, so I was looking forward to watching her in something new. But not even her presence could salvage this film.

    The basic plot is that a tornado hits a small town wiping it out. It surrounds 4 families and their experience.

    If you want to be preached to, go ahead and watch it Personally, I'd rather go and revisit Twister and at least know I was getting what I paid for.
