nowadays everyone can record video and call it a film...

This was a painfull experience watching those non actors, 'acting'... wooden acting, without a screenplay, terrible 'one liners' dialogues, a lot of swearing and gore, bad, bad bad, even funny sometimes, so bad:) old unattractive and ugly 50 something girls, with handsome lads, kinda more like England or Germany, not Poland, where usually in life it's opposite... The casting was also terrible, for example 'pantadeusz', the only pro actor in the team, who plays a mafia boss, and looks like sweet priest from small town:), he tries to be tough, but one look at his face and you see that sweet boy, it's good actor, but he simply cannot play bad character, it's kind of like imaging Woody Allen playing vicious mafia boss...the only good thing about it is camera work, nice pictures and good edits, the rest is low level vhs market; avoid, I warned you!

A decent plot with strong acting and witty dialogue

This movie is 100% "vegan". If you liked previous movies by Patryk Vega, you will like this one, too. If you hated his style before, you will hate this movie as well. The action is fast-paced and shot in several regions of the world. The plot is complex and multilinear but converges in the last act quite neatly. I have the impression that the plot was much more consistent than in Vega's previous movies and builds towards the climax. Some scenes were pretty funny, with the audience laughing out loud several times. Some scenes offer excessive gore. This movie received strong acting from prominent Polish actors and an outstanding performance by Angie Cepeda. This surely is a must-see for all fans of gangster movies. However, I am not sure whether it has much to offer for an international audience. Moreover, I do not think that this movie has some deeper message. It is just pure entertainment.

    They've completely lost it!

Women of Mafia was an interesting take on the underworld. The first film had a great premise without edging to be tacked together. Women of Mafia 2 lets go and divorces almost everything that held the first movie together and becomes a writing free for all. Zany plotline, wild adventure, extremely comical! You could tell they didn't take the movie seriously and really wanted to rip the movie apart! Even one or two actresses seem lost to where they were and just didn't care! The biggest extreme found in the movie, was how the movie sub-story was set in Columbia and taking part of the drug trade to having to take another female character who just happens to be a doctor, to helps to complete and continue the plotline. Why into Columbia and its illegal drug trade, I'm sure it's anyone's guess but it's brazen that it's been tacked on to try to deliver something but the only element this movies does well, is its good production values.

What were the censors thinking !?

This should never have got past the BBFC - parts of this film were far too gory and far too unwatchable.

I can't remember when I saw a film that literally had me covering my eyes and ears at the same time

It was such a shame as the cast was good and In my experience I've never seen a bad Polish film before but this one started off ok roughly 6/10 then by the mid section it was down to 3/10 and then the end which took forever it was 0/10 - I was very close to walking out early .

    Good bits - aerial shots

Bad bits - violence , gore , script , length

It was basically a film full of psychopaths , but if there was supposed to be humour attached to it no one was laughing .

    Avoid 0/10 Pad.A
