Claudio Fragasso and Rossella Drudi are interviewed for this eighteen-minute featurette that has them discussing the film SHOCKING DARK, which is better known under its illegal title of TERMINATOR 2. If you've seen that Bruno Mattei film then you know it's a rip-off of ALIENS and THE TERMINATOR and the two screenwriters are here to discuss the picture. Drudi gets the majority of the talking time as she discusses how the producers requested a rip-off so that they could sell it in certain markets. We get some great ideas about what those early meetings were like and what the producers wanted them to deliver. The shooting of the film is discussed as well as the title change that eventually happened. The writers want to make it clear that the title change to TERMINATOR 2 was done by the producers and them only. All in all this was a fun featurette and all the background stories were quite nice.
