... truly unfortunate this series-ended-was-cancelled after only-two-seasons... of all productions from Mexico, Monarca is undoubtedly one of the better ones... (to date 80% of IMDb reviewers giving it a rating of 8 or higher)

... well written-cast-acted-produced, it deserved a better fate... one that at least allowed for an adequate resolution of the storyline, rather than to just leave all viewers hanging with an unresolved ending.

I watched it one sitting and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was even more gripping than season 1 I can't wait for season 3.

Monarca is a very good show. The big question is will it continue. Netflix has an extremely high cancellation rate.

This show is everything the new Dynasty could have been.

The core family has secrets, and there are twists, turns, suspense, and it's amazingly entertaining while relying on good writing. The actors have plenty of material to shine.

This is a show where everyone from the producers, crew, and cast are just spot on. The performances were right on cue.

If you don't speak Spanish, subtitles are available. With the theatrical cinematography, it will be like seeing a foreign movie.

The cast is too large to mention everyone, but this show is perfectly cast. Different generations of actors seem like a real family.

Although, the general plot is threshed and has been told a thousand times before, the merit of Monarch is in its agile and intelligible narrative, the clear definition of complex characters and great suspense management. The performances are impeccable, at a high level. You will devour the series with a single blow. Excellent job

The series is so well crafted. The characters are very well created. Definitely they need to make the 2nd season.
