The video of Manny ranting and insulting Phil on set because of his acting is based on an incident that occured between director David O. Russell and Lily Tomlin on the set of I Heart Huckabees (2004). Complete with the director storming off set, only to re-emerge from a door on set and continue his ranting. Footage of this incident can be seen online.

Goofs
Lily's friend texted saying "I'm outside your house." Mitch goes outside to check thinking it is the black widow. When he is outside, Lily's friend is there, but they were not at home. They were at Jay and Gloria's house.

Well I enjoyed it.

People are very harsh on 'Modern Family', but it is still one of the best shows on TV.

I thought this episode was great, with the Phil/Manny storyline being the best of the bunch.

It was a warm and charming episode.
