Very Refreshing!

The Frog in the Stone's use of NOTHING and at the same time EVERYTHING is refreshing. Director Chi J. Lee's use of black and white only emphasizes he is a director we should be seeing great work from for some time to come.

The executive producer on The Frog in the Stone, Wonjun Lee, was friends with Jong Hak Kim. In mid 2010, Kim agreed to meet with Chi Lee only as a favor to his friend, but he was impressed by the screenplay for The Frog in the Stone. Kim was in talks to produce the movie before he passed away.
