Follow the Bouncing Ball.. Crosby Style
We've Got Another Bond to Buy (1945)
** 1/2 (out of 4)
Bing Crosby turned "We've Got Another Bond to Buy" into a hit back in the day as it was a song that tried to make sure people knew the war wasn't over until all the soldiers came home. This song was written and performed to make addition funds for the war and it was also turned into this two-minute short, which was one of those "follow the bouncing ball" shorts that were played in theaters so that people could sing along. The best thing about this is obviously the song itself as Crosby has that wonderful voice and turns the tune into something rather catchy. Visually there's really nothing too impressive happening on the screen but fans of Crosby will want to check this out.
