It’s a weird month on Netflix in February; one that will probably require you to be open-minded about the shows and movies you’re willing to consume on the service.
There are quite a few library TV series arriving this month, for example. If you’re ready to start binge-watching Monk, My Wife and Kids, or acclaimed show Warrior, you’re in luck, as those complete seasons will be available. The Blacklist season 10, Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12, Brooklyn Nine-Nine seasons 1-4, and Young Sheldon season 6 will also be hitting the ‘Flix.
In terms of what’s new, there’s a ton of foreign language content and true crime stuff, but original English language stuff will largely be unscripted fare like Love is Blind, which is back for a new season. There are a few bits and bobs on the way outside of that, though. Netflix’s animated movie Orion and the Dark will debut,...

A nearly unrecognizable Sofia Vergara playing a cartel boss, a new retelling of the story of the Uruguayan rugby team that crash-landed in the Andes in 1972, Kevin Hart assembling a team for a daring heist and Dan Levy dealing with loss and grief are among the standout projects hitting Netflix this January.
Spanish director J.A. Bayona’s Society of the Snow lands on Netflix on Jan. 4. The film is the latest cinematic retelling of the miraculous story of the Uruguayan rugby team that crash-landed on a glacier in the heart of the Andes in 1972, with the survivors being forced to resort to extreme measures to stay alive. After debuting in Venice, Society of the Snow has picked up plenty of awards on the international film festival circuit, and it recently made the shortlists in four categories for the 2024 Academy Awards, including best international feature film.

It’s a quiet month on Netflix in January, but the streamer still has some good stuff lined up for the new year, including an interesting documentary about the Centra Tech cryptocurrency scam. Bitconned arrives on the first of the month alongside Netflix’s latest Harlan Coben adaptation, Fool Me Once, which sees an ex-soldier called Maya witness her husband’s murder on a nanny cam. The crime then leads her down a deadly path where she uncovers a deadly conspiracy.

Bullied by his father and the child of an unemotional mother, Charles grew up isolated from his parents, the product of, in the words of one friend, “a spectacularly dysfunctional family.” A behind-the-scenes look at his marriage to Princess Diana and his future as the British sovereign are explored on May 2, just days before his official coronation.

Love is in the air on Netflix in February, from new romcoms like the Reese Witherspoon-starring “Your Place or Mine” to the return of murderous stalker Joe Goldberg in “You” Season 2 part 1.
Penn Badgley has long dispelled any misnomers of his “You” character being a romantic, but Joe himself still believes that’s who he is at his core. After killing his wife and faking his own death, Joe sets off for Europe so he can find Marianne (Tati Gabrielle), the woman he convinced himself he’s in love with before she learned the truth and fled. But breaking old habits has never been easy for old Joe, who quickly gets caught up in a most dubious clique of London high society that has its own struggles with lust, power, and the occasionally fatal crime.

Floribama Shore will not be returning to MTV.
The cabler has announced it will not proceed with the reality series's fifth season.
However, Deadline notes that "the future of the series is being evaluated" by the network.
Whether that means the show could end up at another outlet down the line, we don't know, but for now, the series is over.
Footage was shot at star Nilsa Prowant's wedding last year, which was said to be used in a fifth season.
TMZ reports that the series was set to return to filming earlier this year, but that it had been pushed back to Covid-19.
Now, there's no telling whether that footage will ever see the light of day.
Some of the cast members hinted there was unrest earlier this month when they shared Tweets that seemingly alleged they had yet to be paid by either the network or production company.

So much for “puke, rally, repeat” because the MTV reality series Floribama Shore won’t be returning for a fifth season. According to Deadline, the future of the series is being evaluated. Initially, cast members Aimee Hall, Candace Rice, Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Nilsa Prowant, Gus Smyrnios, and Kirk Medas lived together in a house on the Florida panhandle, but in recent seasons, due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming relocated to Missoula, Montana and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The series has been filled with all sorts of drama, and that drama continued off the show on Fear Factor in a grotesque competition against members of Jersey Shore. There will be one person who won’t be too sad about the cancellation of this educational program, and that’s the mayor of Panama City Beach, Mike Thomas who, after the cast moved from Pcb to St. Petersburg, Florida was quoted as...

The Floribama Shore is closed for the foreseeable future: MTV has decided not to move forward with a fifth season of the reality series, at least for now, according to our sister site Deadline, who adds that “the future of the series is being evaluated” by the network.
An offshoot of MTV’s reality juggernaut Jersey Shore, Floribama Shore debuted in 2017 and followed eight friends who live together in a summer house on the Florida Panhandle. The action moved to St. Pete Beach, Florida in Season 3, and then to Montana and Lake Havasu for Season 4, which wrapped up in December.

Don’t expect to see a new season of Floribama Shore anytime soon. MTV has opted not to move forward with a fifth season of the reality series, at least for now, sources tell Deadline. We hear the future of the series is being evaluated.

MTV’s “Floribama Shore” follows the lives of young adults as they spend the summer in the party-heavy Florida Panhandle. Cast members tend to be young, good-looking, and wild — proving to be quite the combination of entertaining traits for reality TV.
The picturesque setting is another plus for this series. The first two seasons of the show were filmed in Panama City Beach, while the third took place in St.

The rest will never be written.
According to Deadline, MTV has officially canceled The Hills: New Beginnings after two low-rated seasons.
The news should come as no surprise when you consider that the show has never been a big ratings performer for the young-skewing cabler.
A reboot of the popular reality series The Hills (2006-10), New Beginnings featured a mix of old and new cast members, but it had one big issue throughout its run:
It was boring.
Reality TV is typically filled with drama, but the drama was watered down.
Had MTV went in a drastically new direction by bringing no one from the original back, the show might have had legs to sustain storylines.
The series was in jeopardy after its first season.
MTV gave it a vote of confidence in the form of a speedy second-season pickup, but filming was delayed several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We last saw MTV’s Floribama Shore cast in quarantine. Production abruptly shut down in Lake Havasu, Arizona when a crew member tested positive for Covid-19. The show had moved from the blizzard conditions of Montana, where they filmed earlier episodes in Season 4. There was a lot of unfinished business, but fear not: Jeremiah Buoni, Kirk Medas, Gus Smyrnios, Candace Rice, Nilsa Prowant, Codi Butts, and Aimee Hall reconvened in Georgia for a fifth round, premiering September 16. And with dogs, goats, and Aimee’s pet pig, it’s officially become a real animal house. New mom Nilsa, Codi, and Aimee checked in to talk about all the new developments and returning back to the Dirty South. MTV Tell us what it was like to have your vacation cut short due to Covid. Nilsa Prowant: We left so much stuff unsaid. We didn’t want our vacation to end like that.

The doors of Sur will be reopening on Bravo very soon.
Vanderpump Rules, which was heavily rumored to be canceled due to a string of controversies involving its cast, will resume filming next month.
Variety revealed the news Tuesday.
As for who will be back, Tom Schwartz and his wife, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Maddix, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Raquel Leviss are all locked in for Vpr Season 9.
Bravo announced last year that Max Boyens, Brett Caprioni, Kristen Doute, and Stassi Schroeder were fired from the series because of past racist behavior.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced in December they were leaving the series, but it was then rumored it was not their decision to part ways with the show that made them famous.
Additionally, Dayna Kathan, who was a series regular on Vanderpump Rules Season 8, announced last week that she would not be back.

Exclusive: Double Shot at Love is returning to MTV for a third season.
The ViacomCBS cable network renewed the dating competition, which is produced by SallyAnn Salsano’s 495 Productions.
The third run of the spinoff of Tila Tequila’s Shot at Love format will air later this year and again will star Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino. Pauly found love with Nikki in Season 2, which aired last year, and now the pair are looking to hook his friend Vinny up.
The show is produced by Todd Radnitz, Dan Caster, Diana Morelli and Salsano.
This comes as Salsano has had a busy year, shooting a slew of shows during the pandemic, scoring her first Discovery+ order and moving into new non-scripted genres.
Salsano told Deadline that she’s been “amazed” by what the non-scripted community has been able to achieve during Covid.

When Floribama Shore debuted in 2017, lots of people were skeptical. Many felt like the series was nothing more than a knock off version of Jersey Shore. Of course, the expectations were low. Despite some assuming the show wouldn’t last for more than one season, it’s actually become quite popular. Apparently, there’s something about a bunch of people living in a vacation house and partying all day that people can’t resist. As you may have been able to piece together by the show’s title, the series originally took place on the Florida/Alabama shore – Panama City to be exact. The most

It's about to be a major season of change for Nilsa Prowant. The past year has been filled with growth for the Floribama Shore star. Floribama Shore finally has a return date at MTV.
The beloved series last aired almost a year ago, but it will finally return with its fourth season on Thursday, February 25 at 8/7c.
Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice, and Gus Smyrnios will all be back for more insanity, but Kortni Gilson and Mattie Breaux are out of the series.
Gilson exited during Floribama Shore Season 3, but the door was seemingly left open for her return, while Breaux joined the cast last season and became a big hit with the fans.
“The new season picks up following an explosive summer in St. Pete Beach, Fl. as castmates Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios reunite once again for their annual trip, but things look different this year," reads the official logline.
"With limited access to the outside world at their remote location,...

MTV will have to apologize to a few more states for this one. Floribama Shore is officially returning for a fourth season next month, but rather than sending its cast back to Florida, the reality guilty pleasure is heading west.
The new season of Floribama Shore — which welcomes back all of the original housemates, save for Kortni Gilson, whose departure during Season 3 appears to be sticking — premieres Thursday, Feb. 25 at 8/7c.
