Richard Roeper: In "The Wedding Planner", Jennifer Lopez has the Sandra Bullock role as Mary, who plans weddings as if they're the MTV Awards. Months of preparation, elaborate set designs, and even a team of headset wearing assistants on the big day. But the lonely and heartbroken Mary can't get a date, so her nights are spent playing Scrabble with old people and watching TV alone... apparently this movie takes place on the planet "Yeah, Right".
