Once you go Black Lightning, you never go...back, lightning?

The show gets good at some points, though it was slow as the 3rd season began. COmpared to the older seasons, its not as good. ON the plus side, at least fans get to see what the majority of the characters look like more grown up, though its a tad disappointing. And the timeline and ages of some heroes and villains never quite makes sense. C'est la vie, non? That aside, the innuendo in this episode seemed peppered most heavily, the funniest being when Black lightning zaps livewire after she says shes had lightning before. Then our titular good electrical character says " You've never had Black Lightning, before". I laughed and cringed a bit. Eventually it simmered down by the middle of the episode, and just when things were getting juicy. All the missed opportunities for more funny talk. I still enjoyed the episode though, as the meta human mystery continued to unravel (so slow stil, though). lol
