Exclusive: One Night Stand actor Matthew Sauvé will star in a limited series about his experiences with addiction.

Sauvé will star in Disrepair alongside Tommy James Murphy (Last Resort) and Samora Smallwood (Star Trek: Discovery), with Bell Canada’s streaming channel TV1 the commissioning network.

Co-creators are Sauvé, Murphy and Andrew Ravindran (Friendly Visit), who is directing. They produce the series under their newly formed banner, RavinMurph Pictures. With an overall focus on redemption stories, they filmed the post-dystopian-world suspense thriller Midnight Dreamers and are developing a comedy, among many others.

Canadian songwriter Simon Wilcox, known for the Twilight soundtrack and Nick Jonas’ song ‘Jealous’ has been tapped to create original music.

Filming on the redemption story is set to begin in the small town of Oshawa, Canada, where the series is set, and the Toronto area later this spring. A fall launch date has been set.

The Jonas Brothers are still celebrating the recent release of their latest record, The Album, but in true Nick Jonas fashion, the singer is planning to go solo again. On July 7, the singer will deliver a solo headlining performance for NBCUniversal’s Salute to Summer concert honoring the U.S. army.

“I am so honored to be headlining the upcoming ‘Salute to Summer’ concert on Peacock this July to celebrate the active U.S. Army soldiers and Veterans that have served our country and made us all so proud,” Jonas shared in a statement.

The Jonas Brothers are once again reviving their mid-2000s nostalgia with the announcement of a new album and future tour.

On Monday (30 January), the sibling trio – comprised of Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas – were honoured with a Hollywood star at their Walk of Fame ceremony.

During the event, as the three brothers stood at the podium to accept the honour, Nick said: “We are excited to announce today that our new album, The Album, will be coming out 5 May. And we can’t wait to see you on tour later this year.”

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter and actor Jesse McCartney was just shy of taking home the Golden Mask trophy on Wednesday’s finale of “The Masked Singer.” As the Turtle, he placed second behind the Night Angel (Kandi Burruss) but edged out the Frog (Bow Wow), who placed third.
