- TriviaWhen Luke asks Piranha "Where's my money, honey?" it's a reference to the 1973 comic "Luke Cage, Hero for Hire" #9, in which Luke attempts to collect money owed to him by Doctor Doom and in which he says the same line to Doom.
- GoofsCage and Bushmaster agree to meet on the bridge at 12:00 high. When we see them together on the bridge it's plain to see om the shadows that the Individual Cage shots were filmed during the early afternoon no the individual Bushmaster shots were filmed during the late afternoon. The fight scene does not appear to have any shadows, so several portable lights must have been used to eliminate any shadows.
- Quotes
Comanche: What's your plan?
Hernan 'Shades' Alvarez: To live the American dream.
Comanche: [laughs] I got a loaded gun, a hard dick, and a pocket full of cash. That's the American dream, right?
Hernan 'Shades' Alvarez: There's more than this shit, and you know it. Thousand dollar suits, bitches, champagne, all that shit is cute, but when you have to kill to get it, you're gonna get killed if you keep it. That's karma.
Comanche: That's the life. We do what we do.
Hernan 'Shades' Alvarez: But there's a better way, a bigger life... one where you don't have to look over your shoulder every second. Mariah's taught me that. You're just out of prison, but you still have that mentality. You gotta forget all that shit. We don't have to be gangsters. We can be so much more than that.
Comanche: We *are* more than that. Or did you forget that shit too?

The opening sequence was okay but nothing special.
Although we get some more insight to Bushmaster in this episode, he still remains to be a mostly weak character and villain. I'm not sure what it is that makes him so. I think the way he doesn't seem very important or threatening maybe.
Luke and Piranha's interactions were fun.
We have a surprising revelation and character moment between Shades and Comanche. I was pleasantly surprised by this.
Misty's character took a surprising turn also.
The fight scene at the end was very awkward and anticlimactic. I'm not sure how they thought that it would be a good direction for that storyline to go in. The music choice during the scene was also very strange.
Overall the character interactions and dialogues are still far superior to how they were previously, but the writing and directing are still occasionally falling flat.
I'm not sure why the show runners decided to hire a different writer and director for each episode but it is sometimes very noticeable and the show loses consistency.
