    Good Job.

Good job, writers of TBBT. You had a main conflict for season 12. It was all good. Then 3 episodes before the finale of one of the BIGGEST SHOWS *EVER* YOU SLOPPILY END IT. THIS IS HOW?! So, instead of using your brain to figure out a conclusion to this drama that is smart, funny and makes sense you end it with a dumb joke that isn't even funny.

The drama to your final season of a series running for 12 years is ended because of a character we have never even heard of and comes out of literally nowhere.

Good job dinguses in the writing squad for this show. This episode is exactly what is wrong with TBBT season 8 onwards.

    What an embarrassment.

    Nobel

I wonder. Why is it assumed that these two entities are the only ones capable of winning a Nobel Prize for physics. I know this is fiction, but think of all the incredible scientists, workin arm in arm with others, painfully testing their discoveries. These guys spend about fifty percent of their time watching Star Trek reruns. Here we have some dirt put forth by Krinke that pulls the rug out from under those two knuckleheads who form the competition. The episode is entertaining but so far fetched. On a whole other note. Throughout this series there is so much drinking. Hardly a moment goes by without a glass of wine or a beer in someone's hands. Penny would easily qualify as a full-blown alcoholic because we seldom see her without a bottle. I wonder if any of the writers have taken note of that.

    • Trivia
This marks the 276th episode of the series, making it the longest-running multi-camera sitcom ever. Cheers (1982) previously held the title with 275 episodes.
    • Goofs
When Kripke told Dr. Pemberton that the latter had the former's number. With Kripke's Rhotacism, it would sound like "numba". However, if you listen closely, Kripke says "number".
    • Quotes

Dr. Greg Pemberton: Well, that's the great thing about science. We all get to have our own opinions.

      Sheldon Cooper: [awkward pause]

      [to Amy]

Sheldon Cooper: I'm still not talking. That's impressive, right?

      (picture of a forceps)

I was recently thinking about obstetrical forceps, a tool used to grab the head of an unborn baby and yank it through the birth canal. While injuries to the baby are rare, if the doctor were to sneeze during the procedure, it could cause serious brain damage to the unborn child. Now while there may be many other possible explanations to our current political crisis (I've always been partial to untreated syphilis), the "forceps-achoo" scenario cannot be ruled out as a causative factor.
