With fans pondering who “General Hospital” executive producer Frank Valentini was alluding to when he told ABC 7’s On the Red Carpet that a former male cast member would be returning to the show this summer, actor Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) on Wednesday decided to join in on the fun as his name had been tossed around as a potential returnee.
In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Craig said, “Who could it be…….,” in response to a Soap Opera Digest story that included a photo of the actor alongside three other prominent former cast members who the outlet pondered could be returning. Shortly afterward, Craig responded to the story again, this time with a “thinking face” emoji.
Craig’s combined tweets have since been seen more than 50,000 times, received more than 700 likes, and generated over 100 comments from fans, many positively.

Exclusive: Actor Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll) has signed with Stagecoach Entertainment for management.
Barnett is perhaps best known for his starring role opposite Natasha Lyonne on the Emmy-winning series Russian Doll, which Lyonne created with Leslye Headland and Amy Poehler for Netflix. The show centers on Nadia (Lyonne), a cynical young woman in New York City who keeps dying and returning to the party that’s being thrown in her honor on that same evening, ultimately trying to find a way out of this strange time loop. Barnett’s character, Alan Zaveri, comes to bond with Nadia, given the fact that he is likewise stuck in this mysterious loop. Russian Doll returned for its anticipated second season in April, having debuted on Netflix in February of 2019.
A Juilliard graduate, Barnett played the lead role of Peter Mills on NBC’s hit series Chicago Fire over the course of its first three seasons.

“The gates of Heaven and the gates of hell are claimed to be in the same spot. During the firefight, Cop Keating was like the gates of hell: violent, bloody, and full of sorrow. However, watching men sacrificing themselves to protect each other, I could see the true form of brotherhood and love, making the firefight at Cop Keating like the gates of heaven as well.”

Rod Lurie is an incredibly underrated director. In particular, his three political films in The Contender, Deterrence, and Nothing but the Truth, really are phenomenal works. Catching up on an exciting new Trailer from earlier in the week, we have Lurie’s latest movie, the Afghanistan war drama The Outpost. Not only is the Trailer quite intriguing, the flick itself has the added bonus of planning to actually play in theaters in early July. More on that in a few short paragraphs, and of course you can see the Trailer below. First, though, lets talk about the project a little bit. The film is a war drama, centered on a small team of U.S. soldiers battling against hundreds of Taliban fighters in Afghanistan, culminating in what would be the most violent skirmish in that war. Here’s the official description: “In this military thriller, based on The New York Times best-selling non-fiction book,...

“Supernatural” star Jared Padalecki could soon be starring in a reboot of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” Variety has confirmed.
CBS Television Studios is currently developing a new version of the classic Chuck Norris-led series with Padalecki in the title role. No network is currently attached. Should the project move forward, it would allow Padalecki to smoothly transition off of “Supernatural,” which is wrapping its run on The CW after 15 seasons this year.
Anna Fricke is attached to write and executive produce the new series with Dan Lin also executive producing. Fricke, who is currently under an overall deal at CBS TV Studios, previously co-created the Syfy series “Being Human” with her previous credits also including shows like “Wayward Pines” and “Valor.”

Despite much of the network’s airtime being devoted to procedurals, CBS has developed a recent tradition of devoting its summer programming slots to more out-there genre programming — shows that might defy expectations and represent more bonkers storytelling.
This year, look to “Blood and Treasure” as the latest show to follow in this tradition. A modern-day action thriller with touches of “Indiana Jones” and “National Treasure,” creators Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia deliver an odd couple globe-trotting adventure about an antiquities expert and a cunning art thief who team up to take down a notorious thief/terrorist (played by “The Mummy’s” Oded Fehr.)
Matt Barr, previously seen in the CW’s “Valor” and Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow,” leads the cast alongside Sofia Pernas, whose recent TV credits include “Jane the Virgin” and NBC’s “The Brave.” The series also stars Michael James Shaw, Katia Winter, James Callis, Alicia Coppola,...
